Today Conservatives Can Remake Congress And Restore America

Conservatives
Every so often we receive a comment to the effect of “why bother, things will never change in Washington.”

Naturally, our position is that “bothering” is not only important, but we have a moral obligation to speak up for, and work to achieve, limited constitutional government, liberty and freedom under God’s laws to be the guiding principles governing America.

And it may seem counterintuitive, but with Congress and the President at record lows in the polls and the esteem of the voters, making this vision a reality is getting easier, not harder.

Americans are ready for the restoration of constitutional government. They need just two things.

First, they need a clear conservative alternative to the big government, secular leftist agenda of President Obama and the Democratic Party.

Second, they need leaders, and candidates, who will offer that clear conservative alternative to the voters, and act on it once they are elected.

And we all know America is not going to get that clear conservative alternative or those leaders and candidates from today’s Republican establishment.

And that’s where you, and other limited government constitutional conservatives come in.

Congressional retirements are inching up – three longtime Members of Congress announced that they would not seek reelection yesterday (December 17, 2013) and as of today at least seven members of the U.S. Senate and at least 22 members of the U.S. House of Representatives are not seeking reelection.

These retirements represent a tremendous opportunity to add to the numbers of principled limited government constitutional conservatives in Congress – and in the process restore fiscal sanity and limited constitutional government to America.

And don’t think for one minute that the Republican establishment and their big government, big business allies haven’t already seen this threat to their power and Washington’s insider culture.

They are already recruiting and working to grease things so their favored candidates will have the inside track.

That is why we say “today conservatives can remake Congress and restore America,” because if we act TODAY we conservatives can win many of these open seats, but the opportunity won’t last forever.

The filing deadline has already passed in Texas and the first of the year will bring a frenzied campaign season in the early primary states – we need principled limited government conservatives to file and run in every open seat, even the ones where victory appears remote.

We urge every Tea Party, 912 and grassroots conservative leader and organization to review the list of retirements to-date and recruit a candidate from their ranks to run for one of these open seats.

Remember, it's the primaries, stupid.

It does the cause of limited constitutional government no good to elect another establishment Republican, or worse yet cede the seat to Democrats, who will grow government and allow the continued erosion of liberty and American exceptionalism.

Here’s the list to-date, start making your calls and setting the meetings to recruit limited government constitutional conservative candidates to run in every Republican primary.

new congress

the list was fine except there was no links to these persons to find out any info about them.

Why Would They Add Links?

Just Google them. Or better yet, go to www.House.gov or www.Senate.gov. All Congressmen's and Senators' websites are listed on these pages. This is the 21st Century. Adding a bunch of links would be wasteful (and it's not a good business practice for website management).
