The Murder of the Middle Class

murder of the middle class
In Wayne Allyn Root’s new book, “The Murder of the Middle Class” the entrepreneur, 2008 Libertarian candidate for Vice President and political commentator documents how, little by little, the proud American middle class is being forced to grovel for government checks or subsidies just to survive.

It is important to note up front that in Root's analysis this murder is not just due to misguided, inept, or amateurish policies. It is a deliberate, purposeful, and planned destruction. Every day, the middle class sees their jobs being destroyed and replaced by low wage part-time jobs and/or government checks. Every day, their bills for gasoline, electric, groceries, and health insurance goes up. Every day, their job prospects, income, and assets go down.

Root says this is not happening by accident, mistake, or coincidence. This is a purposeful plan and it is succeeding. How does he know?

Wayne Allyn Root was Obama’s college classmate at Columbia University, where he studied the exact plan that he claims Obama has been implementing for the past six years.

Root’s investigation exposes Obama as the ringleader of an insidious plot to murder the middle class. With more Americans now receiving entitlements than working full time, the great American jobs juggernaut is in reverse. We have chronic unemployment, the lowest workforce participation rate in 35 years, and a massive federal government deficit and debt.

“Suddenly the middle class is threatened with extinction, reduced to a state of dependency,” Root warns, “That’s how tyrants stay in power.”

The good news is that Root believes that there is still time to fight back and win if we Americans have the information about who is responsible and will undertake a bold plan to save American capitalism, the middle class and the Republican Party.

Many readers of CHQ will take a look at the vast treasure trove of data and statistics in Wayne Allyn Root’s “The Murder of the Middle Class” and think “I already know Obama is a menace, tell me something I don’t know.”

And Root’s ideas on how to fight back are really what make the book work.

Like CHQ Chairman Richard Viguerie says in his new book TAKEOVER, Root says “This is a war.”

“It’s time to stop bringing a knife to a gunfight – and bring a rocket launcher. It’s time to call the people who are trying to take the American dream away by their proper names: traitors, thieves, tyrants… Marxists, Fascists, socialists and communists… It’s time to fight like a cornered wolverine… with a daredevil attitude that comes from knowing your freedom, your life, and your family’s future depends on it. Because it does.”

Root’s plan is one that readers of Viguerie’s TAKEOVER will recognize immediately: First, save the GOP from itself. His number one recommendation is that the GOP “Stop listening to the mainstream media. Stop listening to big business, lawyers, lobbyists, and the big money consultants. They are not looking out for your best interests – or the best interests of the American people. They are looking out only for themselves.”

Root says that big business and the mega-wealthy have abandoned the American middle class and succumbed to big government’s bribes, therefore, it is time for the GOP to abandon big business and billionaires and become the party of small business and the middle class.

Another one of Root’s recommendations for fighting back is an additional set of “Commandments for Republicans” that adds to Reagan’s often misused 11th commandment “Thou shalt not speak ill of any fellow Republican.”

Root suggests three additional commandments that would ensure GOP victory:

12th Commandment: Thou shalt not sell out principled, heroic fiscal conservatives in favor of radical leftists or outright communists. You cannot win by doing that.

13th Commandment: Thou shalt reserve they most passionate and fiery vitriol for radical leftists and outright communists, not fellow Republicans. You cannot win elections by being nice to Democrats and the media and vicious to conservatives.

14th Commandment: Thou shalt not side with bigger government, bigger spending, or bigger taxes. First of all, government, spending, and taxes are too big already. Second, if you support making them bigger, who needs you?

Wayne Allyn Root’s “The Murder of the Middle Class” should be required reading for every politically active conservative and we recommend it highly as a complement to CHQ Chairman Richard A. Viguerie’s TAKEOVER.
