Sen. Johnson Provides Evidence Capitol Hill GOP Leaders OK With Obama’s Amnesty

Senator Ron Johnson of Wisconsin

The Boxing Day (December 26) issue of The Wall Street Journal carried an interesting article regarding establishment Republican plans for immigration legislation in the new Congress that will be seated on January 6, 2015.

After President’s Action Curbing Deportations, Congressional Republicans Look to Shape Further Change,” trumpeted the subhead of writer Laura Meckler’s article “GOP Readies Immigration Measures.”

However, it will come as no surprise to conservatives who were skeptical of establishment GOP Speaker John Boehner’s Nov. 13 statement “We are going to fight the president tooth and nail if he continues down this path. This is the wrong way to govern. This is exactly what the American people said on Election Day they didn’t want!” that nowhere in the article does Meckler report any Capitol Hill Republican leader vowing to stop or reverse Obama’s actions.

Indeed, the article quotes one anonymous “GOP committee aide” as saying that “a rollback of the executive action might initially be attached to the border bill but would have to eventually be stripped.”

“If the intent is to pass a bill I’d want this decoupled. Otherwise, it will be vetoed,” Meckler reported.

This of course is exactly why conservatives argued that Obama’s actions must be stopped using the power of the purse in the must-pass year-end “CRomnibus” legislation.

Naturally the comments of one anonymous “GOP committee aide” do not necessarily reflect where the House Republican Conference is headed on any given issue, but it leads us to once again suspect that there really is no establishment Republican plan to stop Obama’s unconstitutional amnesty.

The reality is it gives them what their allies in the cheap labor wing of the US Chamber of Commerce want and it caters to the racial politics that they think (despite the evidence of the midterm elections) will swing a few votes in their favor.

But even more revealing than the comments from the anonymous “GOP committee aide” were the statements Laura Meckler reported from Wisconsin’s Senator Ron Johnson, the incoming Chairman of the Senate’s Homeland Security Committee -- who voted "NO" on the Cruz constitutional point of order opposing the CRomnibus.*

Responding to remarks by Frank Sharry, who heads the pro-illegal immigrant advocacy group America’s Voice that Democrats should oppose any enforcement bill that isn’t “balanced” with some sort of legalization program, Johnson said that Democrats have already gotten their half of the bargain through Mr. Obama’s unilateral action.

“By and large, the Democrats got what they have been looking for on their part of the bargain. Now it is time to give the American people what they’ve wanted,” Johnson said.

Uh yeh, Ron, and we'd like to know exactly what is in the other half of the "bargain" you and your Capitol Hill establishment GOP buddies made with Obama and the Democrats.

What we want is Obama’s unconstitutional policies overturned, and American jobs preserved for Americans, and we're not seeing it in the secret “bargain” that's apparently been made between the Capitol Hill establishment GOP, Big Business, Obama and the Democrats.

Our take on Senator Ron Johnson’s comment to Laura Meckler is that he’s happy as all get out to allow Obama and the Democrats to bank Obama’s illegal actions as “their part of the bargain.”

The way we see it, Johnson and the Capitol Hill GOP establishment have no intention whatsoever of overturning Obama’s amnesty – they plan to move on to giving the tech industry what it wants, millions of “techno-coolie” visas, not giving the American people “what they’ve wanted," which is an end to the ilegal immigration crisis created by Washington’s corrupt political elite.

We urge you to contact Senator Ron Johnson (the Capitol Switchboard is 1-866-220-0044) and tell him what America wants is a closed border, strong internal enforcement to keep illegal aliens out of American jobs and an end to Capitol Hill GOP pandering to Big Business and racial politics.

*Editor's note: An earlier version of this article indicated Senator Johnson voted for the "CRomnibus." That was incorrect; Senator Johnson voted against the CRomnibus and against the Cruz-Lee constitutional point of order on the CRomnibus.

WHO CAN WE TRUST IN CONGRESS ANYMORE?

Can you believe the abhorrent audacity of the Republicans, and not just the Capitalist Established members who voted to fully funded Obama’s illegal amnesty? We THE PEOPLE have been short-changed again—taken for a ride by both political parties. A large proportion of the GOP pledged to block Obama’s hundred billion dollar executive order amnesty for illegal alien, went ahead and voted for the funding. We all thought President Nixon and his counterpart Carter were bad news, but the man the democrats placed in the Oval Office is the worst president at the onset of the Second World War.

An aid to the precocious, conceited child Obama, the King of the greatest country in the world, his top White House aide Dan Pfeiffer said during a recent interview that President Obama would block funding for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) if the Republican Congress does not fund his executive action to grant illegal aliens amnesty and work permits. I can only imagine this man slamming his fist and throwing things around in the WH. To me that’s a threat, intimidation. The illegal aliens might enjoy his rhetoric or propaganda and perhaps the very long line of ‘deadbeats’ that collect every free give-me-that-for-nothing, but not the tireless 92 million Americans looking for a job, or the shorter hours workers, who cannot make ends meet and now forced to live on food stamps and welfare.

It is my belief that those Americans who are even aware of the raw news, or are so exhausted in trying survive the complex problems of feeding a family is how come 21 Senators stood up against the iron fist of tainted lawmakers and voted with Senator Cruz and 28 Republican Senators who had previously come out against executive amnesty voted in favor of fully funding it? For a full list of U.S. Senators who voted for and against the Senator Cruz's point of order, see the roll call vote on NumbersUSA, http://.www.http://www.numbersusa.com /

The abuse of power and the blatant disregard for the office of the president of the United States has shocked Patriots everywhere, embarrassed America and fractured the freedom that we have all come to love and embrace. Obama's actions are utterly disgraceful—from his actions to legalize illegals to his willingness to import deadly disease without character and passion for the women, children and families of America.

Every day I hear more stories of how Congressmen are worrying about the shockwaves that could smother America and turn our great land into a Third World nation overnight. Obama will wreak havoc from the stock market to the supermarket simply because he wants his own way his way. His New World Order spells death to liberty and a complete conversion into a socialist fascist state.

All we are told continuously is lies, spin on top of more lies by both the entrenched politicians. The majority of them have become hypocrites, telling Americans one thing and with our back thinking that everything is on track, they stab us in the back. There is ONLY one reason and that is money. Although this isn’t Congress, a good example of legal theft is California lawmakers who accepted $844,000 in gifts in 2013 — the majority of which came from special interest groups that routinely lobby the state Legislature.

According to a new report released by the good-government group California Common Cause, gifts to elected state representatives included $580,000 in travel payments, more than $100,000 in meals and receptions and $65,500 for tickets to entertainment and sporting events. “With ongoing federal investigations into potential ethics violations by several state lawmakers, this report highlights that there are many legal channels through which special interests exert their influence in Sacramento,” Kathay Feng, executive director of CA Common Cause, said in a press release.

So each one of us who pay our taxes must accept that our elected politicians in Washington are NOT BRIBED by even larger incentives on Capitol Hill, by running the gauntlet of lobbyists? I don’t think so? Very few are happy with their federal salary and are not corrupted by big business offering unreported-under the table cash. That is why we have a tax code that only works for the very wealthy and not for the little middle class man or women. There are so many loopholes for the Capitalist well named as--corporate welfare.

I do remember my Dad’s old saying, “God pays his debts without money”? If not God we will remember the names of Democrats and Republicans, who have amended good laws, policies, because their wealthy benefactors demand it?

And that is why the TEA PARTY IS FIGHTING BACK!

With every fiber of his being he intends to break America...force her down to 3rd world level at any cost. Obama views America as a colonial power—one that is unjust and unwilling to join the global community. He's going to make sure we are punished for it!

THE TEA PARTY needs you—America's grassroots army—to keep going and continue the fight in Washington. YOU SHOULD WANT TO PURSUE EVERY SENATOR AND CONGRESSMAN and bomb the phone Numbers and Mailing Addresses of Members of Congress at: www.contactingthecongress.org / or http://www.usa.gov/Contact/US-Congress.shtml / The TEA PARTY members are urged to pick-up the phone. US Capitol Switchboard (202) 224-3121; (the toll free number is 1- 866-220-0044) and join other conservatives who are committed to flood the phone lines on Capitol Hill with this simple message.’ IGNORE THE PEOPLE AT YOUR OWN PERIL.’ A very reliable website designed for those against illegal immigration is Americans for Legal Immigration PAC http://www.alipac.us /

Of course they're for Amnesty

I never doubted for a minute that the Republicans are all for Amnesty. They get the majority of their financial support from corporations that benefit from the cheap labor that lax immigration policies provide for them. When Boehner won his primary election by a wide margin you knew the game was over!
