This is Big: Trump, Cruz to Hold Joint Event to Defeat Iran Deal

This is the Republican establishment’s worst nightmare. GOP presidential candidates Donald Trump and Ted Cruz have announced they will headline a Capitol Hill rally against President Obama's proposed nuclear weapons deal with Iran.

Iran deal protestWhat the Republican establishment and its U.S. Chamber of Commerce allies fear beyond anything else, including the election of Hillary Clinton as President, is that those voters who support Donald Trump and Ted Cruz can be welded into a cohesive grassroots populist conservative army committed to breaking the “Washington cartel.”

And the Obama – Iran nuclear weapons deal is a classic example of the Washington cartel at work to undermine American national security in the pursuit of their self-enrichment and internationalist agenda.

Americans outside the Beltway recognize the threat of the Obama - Iran nuclear weapons deal.

According to the latest CNN/ORC poll released last week 56% of Americans now say they think Congress should reject the deal with Iran -- up from 52% less than a month ago.

And 6-in-10 Americans also disapprove of President Barack Obama's handling of the U.S. relationship with Iran, according to the poll.

Yet we are now facing the prospect of Obama handing over $150 billion to Iran and lifting sanctions on its conventional and nuclear weapons programs because the Republican establishment  gave away their constitutional power to stop it.

As we explained at the beginning of the debate over Obama’s still-secret deal with the radical Islamists of Iran, the phony drama over stopping the Iran nuclear weapons deal wouldn’t even be an issue if Senator Bob Corker hadn’t – in an act that amounts to treason – given away the Senate’s constitutional power to consent to the treaty through a two-thirds vote.

There’s no way that two-thirds of the Senate would agree to allow Iran to acquire a nuclear weapon.

Even some liberal Democrats, such as New York Senator Chuck Schumer and New Jersey Senator Bob Menendez recognize the danger in lifting sanctions that would allow the number one state sponsor of terrorism – and a radical Islamist country whose millennialist leaders have said openly they wish to bring about the Muslim version of the Apocalypse and burn America in a sea of fire – to have nuclear weapons.

But Corker, with the blessing of the Capitol Hill establishment Republican leadership, managed the passage of a bill that in essence turns the Constitution on its head and will required a two-thirds vote to defeat the Obama – Iran nuclear weapons deal, not pass it.

Consequently, unless another 11 Senate Democrats join that bandwagon, opponents of the deal won't have the votes to keep the agreement from going into effect.

Of course Corker now claims to oppose the deal – but his treasonous undermining of the Senate’s constitutional power to reject it shows his opposition is completely phony.

Now here’s why Trump and Cruz getting together to oppose the Iran deal is so important.

Most, if not all, of the Republican candidates for President have said “I oppose the Obama – Iran nuclear deal.”

But none of them, save Donald Trump and Ted Cruz have said “I oppose the Obama – Iran nuclear deal” and the failures and betrayals of the Republican establishment are the problem with defeating it.

As CHQ Chairman Richard Viguerie argued in his book TAKEOVER

During the entire centuries-long civil war in the Republican Party, the progressive establishment leadership of the GOP has been selling the notion that the Democrats and the liberals are the problem, and that if conservatives would only line up behind establishment Republicans and put them in charge of the federal government, the growth of government and America’s slide toward socialism would stop.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

Donald Trump and Ted Cruz have taken that truth and ridden it to the top of the polls because their supporters understand that the Republican establishment is the problem. Donald Trump and Ted Cruz are at the top of the polls because they have correctly made the Republican establishment the THEM in “send THEM” a message.

The great – and most important message of a Trump – Cruz media event on the Iran nuclear weapons deal isn’t that two Republican presidential candidates are against it; it is that the two populist conservative message carriers are going to get together to let the American people know that we have been betrayed by Obama and the Capitol Hill Republican leadership

The Trump – Cruz event to rally opposition to the Iran nuclear weapons deal is sponsored by our friends Tea Party Patriots, the Center for Security Policy and the Zionist Organization of America. As soon as other details, including the event date, are available we will post them on CHQ.

Iran Protest Washington DC

We will be on the West Lawn of the Capitol Building, Washington DC at 1PM Wednesday, September 9th in mass!
Be there Americans! This is the beginning of the physical take over of the entire Capitol by the people!
This is our legal right. The County Sheriffs and the Tea Party are in motion!

Ted Cruz

Since Ted Cruz voted to consider this Iran deal under Corker's bill instead of as a treaty requiring a 2/3 he will have a lot of explaining to do.

Is this a, If you can't beat them....then join them thing? Rick Santorum 2016 is the best candidate for President, more experience than any of them. I thought more of Cruz but this leaves me wondering. It would be better for him to stay in the Senate for a Rick Santorum Presidency I would think.

Cruz may be pulling the Donald right

I think this is what a lot of both Cruz and Trump supporters have been hoping for. That the Constitutional conservatism that undergirds Cruz' governing view, would start to be embraced by Trump.

Trump is a marketer and he has grabbed onto the larger market opportunities for the voter who is a.) sick of DC, b.) wants a fighter, and c.) is ultra concerned about illegal aliens. So Trump rushes into that market niche. (which is a very large niche).

But even the most avid Trump supporters knows that he has a past political history that isn't exactly stellar. If he has had an epiphany and now realizes that he should move right, then what better way to do that then to join with the conservative hope of America, Ted Cruz.

The two could go a very long way.
