FedUp PAC Poll: Conservatives Want to See One of Their Own in Senate Leadership

Conservatives want to be represented in the Senate Republican leadership according to a poll by FedUp PAC.  Senate Republicans just rebuffed the attempt by conservative Mike Lee of Utah to become Chairman of the Senate Republican Policy Committee, guaranteeing that the GOP leadership will continue to be made up entirely of establishment Republicans until at least 2019.

Mike LeeConsidering that conservative voters provide most of the support that sent those Republicans to the Senate, it is no surprise that 93% of conservatives say that all of the leadership positions should be held by conservatives.  Another 5% would settle for one, while 2% express approval of the current leadership.

Senator Lee was prevented from running for an open leadership position when the rules were reinterpreted to allow Policy Committee Chairman John Barrasso to serve a fourth term despite a three-term limit.

FedUp PAC is a grassroots organization that advocates that constitutional conservatives take over the GOP because Americans are fed up with the Republican establishment.  It is not affiliated with any candidate or committee.
