Hillary Clinton’s Speech: A Trumpet Upon Which Disaster On Disaster Was Proclaimed

Hillary Hypocrite

Last night Hillary Clinton spoke to two Americas; one that has gained power and grown wealthy through the policies she and Barack Obama have imposed upon this country, and one that has been forgotten as it has been devastated economically, socially and culturally and left in fear by those same policies.

Indeed, Hillary Clinton’s acceptance speech was largely a series of winks and nods and dog-whistles to the Far Left that “our progressive platform [for] real change for America” would continue unabated.

If you were a unionized government employee, a “green energy” investor, a Silicon Valley tech mogul or the recipient of an Obamaphone or other government handout Hillary Clinton’s acceptance speech was a much anticipated reassurance that nothing would change and that the vast wealth transfer that over the past eight years has moved trillions of dollars from the private economy to the public economy "would continue unabated."

Likewise, if you were a Soros-funded Far Left anti-police or open borders activist, or a top executive pulling down six-figures at a “charity” servicing illegal aliens or “refugees” from terrorist hotspots, Clinton’s speech made clear that your comfortable quality of life is secure and that she would do nothing to end the war on police or secure the border from the vast wave of unvetted legal immigrants and illegal aliens that threaten our domestic tranquility and have devastated the quality of life and jeopardized public safety in communities large and small across the country.

However, if you are an American whose family income has remained stagnant for two decades there was nothing in Hillary Clinton’s speech for you, except a promise to keep the flow of wage-depressing immigrants coming.

And if you are one of the 92 million-plus Americans who have dropped out of the workforce there was nothing for you except a promise to make sure “President Obama and Vice President Biden get the credit they deserve for saving us from the worst economic crisis of our lifetimes.”

If there is any credit to be had for an economy that has the lowest workforce participation in 40-years, no one is trying to cheat Obama and Biden out of it.

Mrs. Clinton’s answer was not freeing the private sector from the heavy hand of government regulation that has kept between one and two trillion dollars of private sector investment on the sidelines of the economy or stranded overseas, her answer was another massive wealth transfer via tax increases and government spending.

In my first 100 days, we will work with both parties to pass the biggest investment in new, good-paying jobs since World War II.

Jobs in manufacturing, clean energy, technology and innovation, small business, and infrastructure.

How the government will create “good paying” manufacturing jobs or start the small businesses who will hire people was left unsaid because it defies all known economic principles except those of socialism.

While Mrs. Clinton was vague and rosy in her economic promises she was much more specific and terrifying in her cultural and social policy promises.

For those who fear the erosion of the First Amendment, and its promise of freedom of speech, Mrs. Clinton was quite clear that she will propose and pass “a constitutional amendment to overturn Citizens United” thus limiting our freedom of speech in elections and other political forums.

Mrs. Clinton has long been on record saying “Rights have to exist in practice, not just on paper. Laws have to be backed up with resources, and political will… Deep-seated cultural codes, religious beliefs, and structural biases have to be changed.”

So last night she made it clear through dog whistles to the Far Left’s “social justice warriors” that the First Amendment’s promise of religious liberty will be subject to a new secular standard of “civil rights” and “human rights.”

And although she hypocritically did not specify how the new “civil rights” and “human rights” she envisions will be implemented, conservatives understand that it would be through legislation such as the federal Equality Act, a bill that she has endorsed that deliberately takes aim at religious liberty and jeopardizes the integrity of religious institutions.

And to those who fear the erosion of the Second Amendment, and the protection of the individual right to keep and bear arms, Mrs. Clinton offered the smooth assurance that “I'm not here to repeal the 2nd Amendment. I'm not here to take away your guns,” even as she has said repeatedly that believes the Heller decision confirming the Second Amendment as an individual right is wrong and should be overturned and has endorsed a variety of gun confiscation proposals, such as confiscatory taxes and Australian-style mandatory buybacks.

But most dangerously and hypocritically Mrs. Clinton claimed to offer “steady leadership” in the face of the existential national security threats facing our country.

This was the same Hillary Clinton who left her post and went home while our Consulate at Benghazi, Libya was under attack, an attack that killed four Americans including State Department Information Officer Sean Smith, whose Mother Pat Smith, spoke so movingly on behalf of Donald Trump at the Republican National Convention.

And it was the same Hillary Clinton whose policies while she was Secretary of State sowed disaster from Libya, to Syria, Afghanistan to China and to the misspelled “reset” with Russia.

But most dangerously, this was the same Hillary Clinton who has been unable to speak the words “radical Islam” and who refuses to associate Islam and its doctrine of jihad with the external and internal threats facing our country.

So when Hillary Clinton claimed that “we put a lid on Iran's nuclear program without firing a single shot” what she didn’t say was the process that she and Obama put in motion confirmed the radical Islamist Republic of Iran, the world’s top state sponsor of terrorism, on the road to nuclear weapons and transferred to the Mullahs $150 billion with which to rebuild their military, expand their nuclear program and fund Islamist terrorists around the globe.

And perhaps most troubling of all, Mrs. Clinton made clear in her comment saying she refuses to “ban a religion” that the flow of immigrants from Islamist hotspots will continue unabated, thereby sowing the seeds of jihadi terror in America for generations to come.

The appeal of Donald Trump’s message on the devastating effects of illegal immigration on real Americans was something for which Hillary Clinton has no counter, just as she had no counter to the appeal of Trump’s law and order message when its face is the wives and children of murdered police officers and the national security and trust message when its face is Pat Smith, mother of Sean Smith who was killed at Benghazi.

To the establishment media, and others who wish to maintain the disastrous status quo of the Obama years, Hillary Clinton’s acceptance speech undoubtedly seemed like a rosy alternative to the dark dystopia they saw in Donald Trump’s acceptance speech.

However, the elitist hypocrisy of Clinton’s remarks was not lost on those Americans left behind for the past eight years by the economic and immigration policies of Clinton and Obama, and most importantly, to those Americans whose constitutional liberty is threatened with attack should Mrs. Clinton win this election, her remarks were the sound of a trumpet upon which disaster on disaster was proclaimed. *

Hillary Speech

After listening carefully to this speech, we heard nothing new or different from what she has stated in the past. Yes there were a lot of good tag-lines and "very general ideas"; however, nearly every item that she said she would "do good" for the American people, she has already failed most of the time:
When she cannot even point to a single item that she accomplished in 4 years as the Secretary of State and the FACTS that the Libya policy failed, Benghazi failed, our Russian policy failed (Ukraine and Crimea), the Iran "treaty" has failed in multiple ways as they continue to test ICBM's and have a path to the bomb twice as fast, China policy has failed, UK policy has failed, US actions in Iraq and Iran created ISIS while she was Secretary of State places the blood of 100's of thousands as well as the loss of security around the world. She wants to stop the natural process of Climate change when there has been NO global warming for nearly 20 years.
With all of the above, she claims she will make America safe, she will protect us from rifles that kill less than 300 people a year, yet supports abortion that purposely kills over 1 million babies each year!! Cutting this in half will save more lives than all murders, all car accidents, all suicides, all accidental deaths, and all murders by illegals combined !!
