#ReleaseTheMemo

Our friend Sara Carter and Fox News’ Catherine Herridge have broken a bombshell report about a four-page memo circulating in Congress that reveals alleged United States government surveillance abuses. The memo is being described by lawmakers as “shocking,” “troubling” and “alarming,” with one congressman likening the details to KGB activity in Russia.

FISA AbuseThat such abuses were perpetrated during the Obama years will come as no bombshell to conservatives who have been following the Obama abuses of the intelligence capabilities of the U.S. government to spy on reporters and embarrass and intimidate political opponents.

Our friend, former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino, also breaks this down in his podcast and show notes. You can access them through this link. And we recommend subscribing to Dan's podcast for up-to-the-minute reports on what's going on with this scandal and other breaking news.

The real bombshell part of the report is, as Sara Carter reported, the House Intelligence Committee passed a motion to release the document to other Members of Congress and the vote was strictly along party lines!

Democrats opposed the motion to make the classified report alleging extensive ‘FISA Abuse’ related to the controversial Trump dossier available to all House members.

The report contains information regarding the dossier that alleges President Trump and members of his team colluded with the Russians in the 2016 presidential election. Some members of the House viewed the document in a secure room Thursday.

Speaking with Fox News, the lawmakers said they could not yet discuss the contents of the memo they reviewed on Thursday after it was released to members by the House Intelligence Committee. But they say the memo should be immediately made public.

“It is so alarming the American people have to see this,” Ohio Rep. Jim Jordan said.

“It's troubling. It is shocking,” North Carolina Rep. Mark Meadows told Fox’s Catherine Herridge. “Part of me wishes that I didn't read it because I don’t want to believe that those kinds of things could be happening in this country that I call home and love so much.”

Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz told Herridge he believed people could lose their jobs after the memo is released.

“I believe the consequence of its release will be major changes in people currently working at the FBI and the Department of Justice,” he said, referencing DOJ officials Rod Rosenstein and Bruce Ohr.

“You think about, ‘is this happening in America or is this the KGB?’ That's how alarming it is,” Pennsylvania Rep. Scott Perry told Ms. Herridge.

Sara Carter reports the House Intelligence Committee on Thursday approved the motion by New York Rep. Pete King “The document shows a troubling course of conduct and we need to make the document available, so the public can see it,” said a senior government official, who spoke on condition of anonymity due to the sensitivity of the document. “Once the public sees it, we can hold the people involved accountable in a number of ways.”

The government official told Carter that after reading the document “some of these people should no longer be in the government.”

The document also apparently outlines “several problematic” issues with how FISA warrants were “packaged, and used” state several sources with knowledge of the report.

Congressional members are hopeful that the classified information will be declassified and released to the public, according to Ms. Carter’s report.

“We probably will get this stuff released by the end of the month,” stated a congressional member, who asked not to be named.

But the government official, who viewed the document told Sara Carter, “it will be tough for a lot of people to see this and especially the media, which has been attempting to deemphasize the dossier. It’s going to punch a hole in their collusion narrative.”

The House vote to make the report available to all members is a major step in exposing the long-guarded classified documents obtained by the House Intelligence Committee over the past year, reports Carter. It allows members of the House to view the report and could quickly lead to a motion to declassify the report for the public, numerous House members told this to Ms. Carter.

And that’s were CHQ readers and friends come in.

We urge you to join the social media campaign to release the memo on Obama’s abuses of FISA, or the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, to the public by tweeting #ReleaseTheMemo, posting this article on Facebook or other social media and calling your Representative (The Toll-Free Capitol Switchboard is 1-866-220-0044) to tell your Member of Congress you want the document released to the public immediately.

Top Secret FBI Corruption

Our government has reached the point where it can snoop into every American's privacy, and then conceal its criminal dishonesty by classifying the results as "Top Secret".
This info must be and will be released, now that Americans know about it. The Democraps are opposing it, because it will get smeared all over their faces.
The President has the ultimate power to declassify any information. Here's a chance for Trump to show the pervasive dishonesty of the Democraps, and especially smear it in Chucky Scummer's face.

FISA?

If there were no such thing as a FISA, it could not be used in an illegal way. The very existence of FISA is an outrageous violation of the Constitution.

Intel Memos

Please release the memos so we, the people, are able to see what the FBI and DOJ did to alter our elections. Our taxes are paying for people to patriotic and do what is right for the United States and the people that are paying their salary.
