New Journey PAC - Virginia Is In Play

New Journey PAC
, an unaffiliated PAC organized by conservative African Americans, says Virginia is in play and the PAC has launched a radio and digital ad campaign to remind Virginia’s voters of the atrocious racist conduct of Democratic Governor Ralph Northam, who appeared in blackface, and the credible accusations by multiple African American women that they were sexually assaulted by Lt. Governor Justin Fairfax.

Given that Democrats in Virginia are toast if African American and female voters decide to hold them accountable for their racism and misogyny, New Journey PAC’s strategy aims right at the heart of the lies and hypocrisy that hold the Virginia Democratic coalition together.  To listen to New Journey PAC’s first ad or donate to the PAC, please click this link.

Given that Virginia’s establishment media quickly swept the Northam and Fairfax scandals under the rug a quick reminder of the details may be in order.

Northam, whose college nickname was revealed to be “Coonman,” posed in blackface (or maybe he was the one in the Ku Klux Klan outfit) in a photo for his 1984 medical school yearbook.

In a plunge that exceeded the velocity of Satan’s fall from Heaven, Northam was condemned and demands for his resignation started streaming in from Democrat presidential candidates, the Virginia NAACP and other Leftwing personalities and organizations.

After Northam was revealed to have blacked-up in the worst tradition of minstrelsy to mock and belittle African-Americans it should have been incumbent upon Virginia’s Democrats to send him slinking to an ignominious retirement, but as we explained in our article 'The Rules' Don’t Apply To Democrats, there was no sustained media campaign to drive Northam from office, no baying crowds outside the Governor’s residence or the Virginia Capitol in Richmond, even as Northam continued to pile-up the racially insensitive comments as he tried to dig himself out of the political hole his behavior created.

Northam’s racist past quickly faded into the background when Virginia’s Democratic Lt. Governor, Justin Fairfax, was credibly accused of sexual assault, by not one, but two women.

Governor Justin Fairfax.)

Vanessa Tyson, a professor in California, released a lengthy statement last week detailing her alleged encounter with Fairfax during their time at the 2004 Democratic National Convention in Boston.

"What began as consensual kissing quickly turned into a sexual assault. Mr. Fairfax put his hand behind my neck and forcefully pushed my head towards his crotch. Only then did I realize that he had unbuckled his belt, unzipped his pants, and taken out his penis. He then forced his penis into my mouth," Tyson said in a statement reported by CNN Politics.

After Tyson’s alleged ordeal became public another woman, Meredith Watson, came forward to say that she too was allegedly raped by Lt. Gov. Fairfax.

Ms. Watson’s legal team released to CNN Politics an email exchange between Watson and a former Duke classmate from October 2016, in which Watson responds to an invitation to a fundraiser for Fairfax by saying, "Justin raped me in college and I don't want to hear anything about him. Please, please, please remove me from any future emails about him please, Thank you!"

The “rules” say all women must be believed, the accused should resign due to the seriousness of the charges and all “credible allegations” must be investigated by law enforcement – but none of that happened in the matter of the allegations against Fairfax.

The racist behavior of Northam, and Justin Fairfax’s record of abusing African American women exposed the deep vein of hypocrisy on race and sexual assault that runs through the Democratic Party – especially in Virginia.

Our friends at New Journey PAC have decided that if Virginia’s political establishment and the establishment media won’t hold Northam and Fairfax accountable, they will.

We urge CHQ readers to join us and our friends at New Journey PAC in reminding Virginia’s voters who Virginia Democrats really are.
