Maximo Alvarez And The Speech That Explains The 2020 Election

Maximo Alvarez
Maximo Alvarez, the Cuban refugee who started from scratch and built the Sunshine Gasoline Distributors company that now owns about 360 gasoline stations, gave an impassioned speech at the 2020 Republican National Convention celebrating America as the land of opportunity and freedom.

And Mr. Alvarez’s celebration of becoming an American and his story of entrepreneurship were fitting moments in a GOP Convention that has the Donald Trump economic record as one of its central themes.

But Mr. Alvarez had another message in his remarks that has not garnered as much attention as has his Horatio Alger-like story of economic success, but it was the most important message of this election season.

What Mr. Alvarez said that struck such a deep chord was this:

…My family has fled totalitarianism and communism. And more than once. First from Spain, then from Cuba.

But my family is done leaving. By the grace of God, I have lived the American dream—the greatest blessing I’ve ever had. My dad, who only had a sixth-grade education told me, “don’t lose this place. You’ll never be as lucky as me.”

I’m speaking to you today because my family is done leaving places. There is nowhere left to go.

There. Is. Nowhere. Left. To. Go.

Believe it or not, Mr. Alvarez was not the first person I’ve heard speak this sentiment – more than one refugee from the old Soviet Empire said the same thing in the lead up to the 1980 election, praying for the success of the Ronald Reagan presidency that preserved liberty and Western Civilization for 20 years until Barack Obama and Joe Biden began to speedily unravel it with their agenda of fundamentally changing America.

And in the 1990s I heard it from a would be refugee from Namibia who had first fled the Communist-inspired takeover of Northern Rhodesia and the murderous dictatorship of Robert Mugabe, only to find that it seemed Communism and the attendant destruction of Western values had, like the Furies of Ancient Greece, pursued her to her new home.

There. Is. Nowhere. Left. To. Go.

This is not just a message; it is THE message conservatives must pound into the consciousness of establishment Republicans and others on the Center-Right who seem to view 2020 as just another election.

There. Is. Nowhere. Left. To. Go.

As CHQ Chairman Richard A. Viguerie explained in his memo to conservatives, “IT’S THE BALLGAME AMERICA” the new Far Left Democrats learned their lesson in 2016, and should they obtain control of the government of the United States they will never allow the rise of another populist-conservative like Donald Trump.

This new Far Left Democrat Party is committed to changing whatever laws are necessary, so that they will never again lose control of the federal government. If Democrats win the 2020 election, by December of next year the Supreme Court will be permanently in the control of the far Left, and the America we’ve known all our lives will be gone forever.

The list of actions the elite, socialist dictators will take in 2021 and 2022 if they win to make sure they never lose another national election includes:

1. Give citizenship (which includes voting rights) to 10-15 million illegals.

2. Relax border security, then Democrats will add 1-2 million new illegals to the voting rolls each year.

3. Increase the number of legal immigrants allowed in each year.

4. Add 2-4 justices to the Supreme Court (they can do this with a President, Vice President, and 50 Democrat Senators).

5. Change voting laws to allow unregistered voters to show up at the polls on election day and register and vote.

6. Mail all residents a ballot and allow anyone to turn in anyone else’s ballot.

7. Make election day a federal holiday.

8. Outlaw the requirement of a photo ID in order to vote.

9. Begin to abolish the Electoral College.

10. Increase subsidies for illegal immigrants and reduce or abolish work requirements for welfare (in order to encourage Democrat party voting).

11. Reduce voting age to 16 or 17 years of age. This is already being done in some local elections, including in Maryland and California.

12. Allow felons and prisoners to vote.

If President Trump is not reelected and the new Far Left Democrats seize control of the federal government and implement all or most of those steps to consolidate their power, there will be no turning back.

Republicans and those on the Center-Right who think this is just another election should heed Maximo Alvarez’s warning, because as Mr. Alvarez said: There. Is. Nowhere. Left. To. Go.
