Rick Santorum periodically meets informally with his friends and leaders of the conservative movement to discuss the campaign. Today was such a meeting. The atmosphere was positive and focused on the way forward to victory.
Like halftime at a football game, you go into the locker room to gauge what has been working and what hasn't.
The Santorum campaign team recognizes that, because of Mitt Romney's money advantage and his support from the Republican establishment and the mainstream media, Rick has, to some extent, lost control of the narrative in the campaign. Like Ronald Reagan, he needs to go over the heads of the establishment and take his case directly to the voters.
I and other friends of the Santorum campaign came to the meeting with some new, bold, imaginative ideas on how Rick can go over the heads of the establishment to get his message out to the American people. Rick is excited about these ideas and is looking forward to implementing them.
Attention was also focused on how to communicate the message to Republican voters that the delegate counts being published by the Romney campaign and the media are simply inaccurate.
Call Texas Governor Rick Perry at (512) 463-2000 and tell him to VETO Texas S.B. 346. If he signs this bill, even if you live in another state, if you support an organization that reports on the action in the Texas legislature on issues such as the right to life, home schooling or traditional marriage, you might suddenly find your name and how much you gave to an organization outside of Texas disclosed in filings to the State of Texas and your name and the amount of your donation published in newspapers across the country.
Sign the petition to tell Republican Senators and Representatives to swiftly enact legislation that reimburses IRS-targeted conservative groups and individual donors. Then call them (U.S. Capitol: 1-866-220-0044) and urge them to take the lead in getting a bill up for consideration!

Newt needs to get out
Gingrich needs to drop out. Rick never got Mitt one on one. I do not believe the narrative that Gingrich vote would split between Romney and Rick. Rick would get majority of Newt's vote.

I too am voting for Dr. Paul in my state's primary and am running for delegate to the state convention. I tho believe the party is going to go 'down' due to its love of the status quo. Ron Paul would have saved it from disaster but as Santorum said: " if you want limited government - vote for Ron Paul". Time for a change GOP - should have supported a true game changer..... Ron Paul.

Now that Rick Santorum has backed out of the 2012 Presidential race, who will you back? If you are not a NWO paid schill, maybe you will provide articles about Ron Paul. After all, Ron Paul has the delegates to win the GOP nomination. Remember Reagan 1980? I also remember hearing about Dewey being announced as the winner, and the newspapers got that wrong :)
