With total disregard for the Fourth Amendment to the Constitution, President Obama has authorized the use of unmanned spy drones over the domestic air space of the United States.
Already the EPA is using drones to spy on ranchers in Nebraska and Iowa. This is just the beginning. We know the capabilities of these spy satellites. If we do not stop this intrusion NOW, we will have massive government surveillance of our every activity.
Unwarranted spying is the main concern, but not the only one. Already one drone has fallen from the sky over Maryland, spreading lethal debris over land the size of a football field. Fortunately, this one did not land in your home town.
This is yet another example of collusion between Big Government and Big Business. Defense contractors like General Atomics and Northrop Grumman will be more than willing to ignore the Fourth Amendment in order to have 18,000 police departments across the United States as customers for these expensive spy machines. If we do not stop this NOW, we will have thousands of spies in the sky monitoring our every move.
A Remedy, From TwoTea Party Members of Congress
Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky and Rep. Austin Scott of Georgia have introduced legislation called the “Preserving Freedom from Unwarranted Surveillance Act” (S. 3287, H. R. 5925). This bill would enforce the Fourth Amendment by prohibiting the use of drones over the United States except with specific warrants for specific purposes, as allowed by the Fourth Amendment.
The Fourth Amendment says:
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers,
and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be
violated…
And then it defines the exemptions:
…and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported
by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be
searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
In other words, there are no allowances for general surveillance of our private activities.
The Paul-Scott bill allows for reasonable exemptions: (1) patrolling our borders to prevent illegal entry; (2) when “exigent circumstances exist” that constitute “imminent danger to life”; and (3) when Homeland Security finds that drones are necessary to meet an imminent and specific threat of a terrorist attack.
The time to act is NOW, before domestic spies in the sky become an established part of American life under Big Brother. Sign this petition below to let Senator Paul and Rep. Scott know of your support. They can then go to the leaders of the House and Senate with proof of widespread public support, and get Congress to pass the “Preserving Freedom from Unwarranted Surveillance Act,” forcing President Obama to abide by the U.S. Constitution.

To Senator Rand Paul and Rep. Austin Scott:
Thank you for your leadership in introducing the “Preserving Freedom from Unwarranted Surveillance Act” (S. 3287, H.R.5925),
I support this legislation, and I demand an immediate prohibition on the general use of surveillance drones within the United States. Such use is an unwarranted violation of the Fourth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.
I am a registered voter, and I will hold my Senators and Representative accountable for their support of your bill.
When a country needs to go to
When a country needs to go to these lengths we know they are hiding their sinister deeds from the people and want access to imprison or falsely create documents to destroy anyone who speaks out against them.. It seems apparent the F.B.I. and and C.I.A. no longer work for the people but only for Obama since they failed to step in and investigate the ineligibility claims filed against him.
