The 2010 Tea Party wave election was all about the average American’s anger over the individual mandate and the oppressive big government that it represents. The Supreme Court’s narrow decision upholding the individual mandate has raised that anger to a revolutionary fervor that will sweep President Obama and many other Democrats from office.
Democrats have now been put in the position of doubling down on the Big Brother mandates and oppressive big government policies that led to their historic defeat in the 2010 congressional elections.
The more Democrats defend the individual mandate, the more seats in Congress Democrats will lose.
It is worth noting that Obama and the Democrats lost on the heart of the mandate – that under the Constitution’s Commerce Clause they could force Americans to buy health insurance – but the mandate was upheld on the issue the Democrats were trying to hide; it is a massive tax increase on the American people.
The 2010 Tea Party wave showed that Americans outside the Beltway have had enough of big government, big spending and big taxes from Washington. The 63 House seats the Democrats lost in 2010 are just the beginning.
The tidal wave has started.
I am a state coordinator for our state's largest Tea Party organization, and had the honor of being in DC for the anticipated Supreme Court ruling declaring the individual mandate, unconstitutional. It was. But most of the nation was stunned by the SCOTUS elaboration of an alternate perception of what the Federal Government could do concerning this legislation. To say the nation's conservatives who were following this decision were outraged is an understatement. When returning home, I was overwhelmed with emails and phone calls by furious members and citizens. Some states which have a larger represenation of liberal politicians to target their anger at, are already organizing state rallies. All state Tea Partys are preparing for the tidal wave of citizen activisim, which has already started. Our ranks will likely grow in relation to the current outrage, and by the time Obamacare really affects the nation, those 2014 mid terms will reveal that the Tea Party will be larger than both political parties combined.
Mr. Viguerie is exactly right. In addition, it is amazing how any organization headquartered in DC from government to religious are now compromised because they are so influenced to be liberal in their operations. My advice is to trust no entity headquartered in the nation's capitol.

If You Really Want To Make A Difference
I wish that the Tea Party(ies) would come to campaign for Joe Walsh, in the Illinois 8th Congressional District. He is the epitome of what the Tea Party is all about. Alas, my feelings are that there are a lot of bull frogs croaking, and not enough of volunteer soldiers out there. There is no other congressional race in this country that could stifle the liberal dogma more than having Joe Walsh beat Tammy Duckworth. Google this, if you wish. I wish to plead to the country on this race, even though I have absolutely no gain in my plea, except for a return to better government through a conservative viewing of the Constitution.
A Note To The Progressives
Be careful what you wish for. You say you want immigration reform? Well, try this one on. Will their eventually be a DNA check on every prospective legal immigrant, as part of their processing? Since we now have to pay for their healthcare, will there be a demand that no immigrants be allowed to enter, if their genes show signs of genetic disease possibilities. Whether they can develop a disease, or pass it on to their future children, will we have to pay for their healthcare, if they become citizens?
