The Florida Family Policy Council has announced “The Prayer Rally for America's Future” to be held Sunday, August 26, just prior to the opening of the Republican National Convention in Tampa, Florida. Other co-hosts of the prayer rally include Salem Radio and Focus on the Family’s CitizenLink.
The Prayer Rally for America’s Future will feature some of America’s best known Christian conservative thinkers and speakers, including conservative icon Phyllis Schlafly, founder of the Eagle Forum, Tom Minnery, executive director of Focus on the Family's CitizenLink, best selling author David Barton, founder of WallBuilders, Tea Party Caucus Chairman Representative Michele Bachmann, and Baptist minister and former Congressman J.C. Watts.
The prayer rally program will feature national Christian leaders spending five to ten minutes to speak briefly and lead the audience in prayer regarding a need for God's presence in America’s future. Each leader will focus their comments on an issue such as life, marriage, family, radical Islam, revival in America, praying for our elected officials, etc.
The Prayer Rally for America's Future will be held Sunday, August 26, from 4 to 6 pm at River Church, Tampa, doors open at 3 pm, pre-registration is a must since the rally is expect to draw a capacity crowd.
The Prayer Rally for America’s Future promises to be an evening filled with music, speakers, videos, live creative performances and, most importantly, prayer for our country and the Republican National Convention.
