Tell Boehner and Cantor To Keep Their Hands Off Leadership Races

Dear Congressmen Boehner and Cantor,

On Election Night, you told the American people the results were “a repudiation of Washington, a repudiation of big government, and a repudiation of politicians who refuse to listen to the people."  And you were right.

You now have a perfect opportunity to back up this Election Night statement.  You must respect the voice of each member instead of demanding they “go along to get along” with your chosen candidate to chair the House Republican Conference.

The new House leadership, which presumably the two of your will lead, risks losing support unless it truly listens to each member and the people they were sent to Washington to represent.

Rep. Hensarling and Rep. Bachmann are both good, constitutional conservatives and they both deserve to openly compete to chair the House Republican Conference without your interference.

I urge you to withdraw your endorsement of Rep. Hensarling for the House Republican Conference and allow Rep. Bachmann (or anyone else who wishes to join the race) a fair and open election process that equally respects the voice of each Republican House member.

Respectfully,

Leadership Races

These people were elcted because they stood up for conservative ideals and promised to uphold the thinking of conservatism, Boehner and McConnell both have been notified and warned that co-opting these electees will bring a conflict from all who put their bets on a new era in the congress and a better quality of individual to put the ideas of a people who are just plain fed up with biz as usual and incumbents with no new ideas who will instantly be compromised by the left.  The time has come to make this government one that is controlled by We the people, not we the elite.

Stop listening again and we will repeat the last election that took out most of the left, this time it will be to re-enforce the conservative thinking on the right and use the Republican platform to make our point.
