Affordable Care Act
Much as we’d like President Trump to succeed, providing subsidized health care to illegal aliens is too steep a price for conservatives to pay to support the President in his optimistic push to use Speaker Paul Ryan’s disastrous Obamacare 2.0, Rinocare or #Ryancare bill to repeal and replace Obamacare.
The only parts of Obamacare establishment Republicans want to repeal are the parts in the current House bill, they are perfectly happy to keep the regulations and other Big Government parts of Obamacare and have no intention of establishing a free market health care and health care insurance system.
#RYNOCare is destined for failure and we conservatives need to call and tweet House Freedom Caucus members today to tell them to stand firm against this bill, and that we’ve got their backs when the establishment comes after them!
Ryancare is a twofer for Ryan: He and his big government DC pals continue to control people’s lives by controlling the health care and health insurance markets and they screw Trump in the process.
American Action Network, a political action committee with ties to former Speaker John Boehner and current Speaker Paul Ryan, is airing a half-million dollars’ worth of television ads in the districts of 30 Freedom Caucus members urging them to support Paul Ryan's #RINOcare bill.
Eight years after Obama and Pelosi set out to pass Obamacare, Republican Speaker Paul Ryan and Republican President Donald Trump are embarked on similar path that, if it continues, will have disastrous political consequences for the Trump and Republican brands.
Obamacare 2.0, Rinocare or Ryancare, whatever you call it, Speaker Ryan's phony "repeal and replace" bill is actually worse than Obamacare in many respects, and it is all being done behind closed doors using budget reconciliation, not open debate and amendments. To stop Ryancare's benefits for illegal aliens, and massive new entitlements and big government we urge conservatives to contact the White House to let President Trump know he's being suckered on this deal.
Get government completely out of the healthcare industry where they don’t belong. Don’t try to write whole new policies. Let the insurance companies create policies to fit the market’s needs.
What Justice Roberts’ opinion and the Supreme Court majority said to Congressional Republican leaders in King v. Burwell was, in essence, “don’t expect us to save you from the bad policies previous Congresses passed into law,” so “man-up” and do the work the Constitution gave you to fix them or live with them. And the way we see it, this tough love from Justice Roberts to the Republican leaders in Congress applies to other areas of Obama overreach and governmental “jiggery-pokery" as well.
We join the American Family Association's Bryan Fischer in suggesting that the winnowing process for 2016 begins today. Republican presidential candidates who publicly pledge to vote for or sign into law the repeal of ObamaCare will still be viable conservative candidates. Those who won’t make that pledge ought to be toast.
Halbig v. Burwell didn’t get the kind of news coverage that the Hobby Lobby case received – but the D.C. Circuit's decision in Halbig v. Burwell is "a repudiation of Obamacare and all the lawlessness that has come with it," said Sen. Ted Cruz.
A fed. appeals court ruled that Obamacare’s premium subsidies are invalid in 24+ states. The court said the ACA doesn't permit the IRS to distribute premium subsidies in the fed. OCare exchange. Those consumers must bear the full cost of their insurance.
Frank Alfisi's daughter and doctor blame Obama for his death. Specifically, what killed Frank Alfisi was, in the impersonal language of bureaucracy, “CMS 1599-F.” A new rule courtesy of the Affordable Care Act.
Rep. Michele Bachmann says the latest delay in the implementation of Obamacare is just another example of “lawlessness” on the part of Obama. “The admin. gets to have it any way they want to have it. All their promises about Obamacare, completely hypocritical. They didn’t come through, and now this?
The latest nakedly political and illegal ObamaCare delay has King Barack I bowing to pressure from terrified Dems. looking a midterm bloodbath and waiving the Affordable Care Act’s insurance mandates for another year.
Hidden in Obamacare is a neat little guarantee written for insurers. Charles Krauthammer said, “that buried deep in the ACA is a 'large government bailout' to cover up to 80% as insurance company losses.” Redistribution just crossed our empty plates again Americans.
“I’ve been a cheerleader for the Affordable Care Act since I heard about it and I assumed that it was designed for people in my situation," said an Oregon mother. Health insurance for her and her baby are now too expensive due to OCare regulations.
Darrell Issa wants to take a look at report compiled by a security contractor that details the vulnerabilities in the system, but the White House is refusing to turn over physical copies of the report saying they don't trust the congressman.
Not only has Obama used executive fiat to disregard parts of Obamacare he found politically inconvenient on several occasions, but he’s invited his private-sector Little Partners in the insurance industry to break the law with his blessing.
Observers say South Carolina likely will be the first state in the nation to exempt citizens and businesses from participation in Obamacare.
