Amnesty

The GOP Amnesty Opportunity

Paul Murphy, American Thinker

That media monopoly is gone: get this done, be brutally public about the deportations and re-establishment of existing immigration law, and chances are that generations of new Americans can be reminded that Republicans, not democrats, gave them what they came for: the opportunity to make a better life for themselves and their children in an America they want to be part of.

Marco Rubio All In To Bring More Syrian “Refugees” To America

Much as Marco Rubio would like conservatives to think that he is one of us on national security issues, when you look at what he does, rather than listen to the carefully crafted words that he says, there’s no daylight between Rubio’s position and Obama’s policies on Syrian “refugee” resettlement and Muslim immigration to America.

Appeals Court stops Obama’s Executive Amnesty

Bob Price, Breitbart

The Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals issued a ruling on Monday evening effectively putting a halt to President Barack Obama’s executive amnesty program. Texas and 26 other states joined in the lawsuit to block the Administration’s illegal action. “The court’s decision is a vindication for the Rule of Law and the Constitution,” said Texas Governor Abbott in a statement.

Marco Rubio’s Cynical Ploy on the Trans-Pacific Partnership

Marco Rubio has made a career out of talking a good game on the conservative agenda and then giving a charming puppy dog smile as he abandons that agenda and throws his support to Big Government anti-constitutional, anti-conservative policies.  He did it as a member of the Gang of Eight on amnesty, and he’s doing it once again as he “distances himself” from the TPP and pretends to mull the pros and cons of a bill that will destroy the quality of life for millions of American families. Click here to sign our petition to defeat the TPP and protect American sovereignty and jobs.

Can we trust Marco Rubio on immigration?

Rich Lowry, Politico

Conservatives will want to hear more from Rubio — on Obama’s executive amnesty, on guest workers, on the pathway to citizenship — but making these two assurances wouldn’t contradict anything Rubio has said over the past year, and it would at least alleviate concern that his new approach is boob bait for Bubba in the GOP primaries. But the doubts will never go away, nor should they.

“Speaker” Paul Ryan Waiting For “President” Clinton, Bush Or Rubio To Pass Amnesty

Jim Jordan may think that Paul Ryan “has the kind of vision and is the kind of messenger our party needs,” but as long as Ryan has the same vision as Hillary Clinton does on amnesty for illegal aliens, massive increases in H1B visas, breaking the spending caps and funding Planned Parenthood, executive amnesty and Obamacare the grassroots demand for change in the Republican “leadership” on Capitol Hill is only going to get stronger and the fissure in the GOP is only going to get deeper.

Paul Ryan’s open borders push exposed in 2013 video

Julia Hahn, Breitbart

Rep. Luis Gutierrez’s endorsement of Rep. Paul Ryan for Speaker of the House has drawn new attention to Ryan’s two-decade history of pushing for open borders immigration policies. A previously little noticed 2013 video of Ryan and Gutierrez stumping for Sen. Marco Rubio’s amnesty bill shows just how far Ryan is willing to go to push for open borders policies.

$100 Million from the Chamber of Commerce to buy a new GOP

Erick Erickson, RedState

The fact is we do not have a Speaker candidate yet because House Republicans know they cannot form a coalition Speaker with Democrats without being exposed to their base as frauds. The angst and anger the Chamber of Commerce and House Republican Leaders are showing toward the House Freedom Caucus has way more to do with the veneer of “conservative” slowly rubbing off the leadership.

Of Course Paul Ryan Would Push Amnesty Through Congress, But There’s More…

Along with Paul Ryan’s personal qualities and capabilities comes an unfortunate willingness to destroy the quality of life for millions of American families by advancing the unlimited immigration policies advocated by the establishment Republican Party’s corporate paymasters.

Did We Just Agree With Jeb Bush?

We’d like to be able to agree with Jeb Bush when he gets something right, and his initial criticism of granting birthright citizenship to “anchor babies” certainly looked like an opportunity to agree with Bush on something important. And the anchor baby phenomenon is important.

We Suggest The Andrew Jackson Approach to “Sanctuary” Cities And States

186 years ago, when Democratic presidents actually believed in and defended the sovereignty of the United States, Old Hickory had an answer to those who sought to nullify federal authority to enforce the laws Congress passes, as so-called "sanctuary" cities and states are doing today.

Thank You Rich Lowry

In his recent article “Yes, Pander To Trump On Immigration” National Review's editor Rich Lowry has gotten it mostly right on Donald Trump and the immigration issue and for that we thank him and join him in recognizing that, “Amid the barstool bombast about deporting all illegal immigrants already, here is the core of a program that is more sensible than the ‘comprehensive’ solution offered by the political establishment.”

Game Changer: Trump & Sen. Jeff Sessions Meeting

The reason this is so important – and really is a game changer – is that no one on the national scene understands the politics of populist opposition to open borders and amnesty for illegal aliens better than Senator Jeff Sessions.

Meet the New Boss, Same as the Old Boss: Jeb Bush's Pre-Debate Word Salad

In evaluating Jeb Bush’s pre-debate word salad conservatives should get out their old record players, crank-up the volume and give a close listen to the lyrics of the rock anthem “Won’t Be Fooled Again” by The Who:

We don't get fooled again
Don't get fooled again
No, no!

What's More Important to Ds Amnesty or Funding DHS?

Jon Feere, The Hill

Senate Democrats and President Obama are very troubled by the decision they may soon have to make: Fully fund the DHS by passing a House appropriations bill that prohibits Obama's lawless amnesty, or declare that amnesty for illegal aliens is more important than national security and block the DHS funding bill from becoming law.

Amnesty: Nevada GOP Senator Dean Heller’s Bizarre Betrayal Of The Grassroots

The only reason our immigration system is “broken” is because Barack Obama and presidents before him broke it by refusing to enforce it and illegally changing it without legislative authorization. It remains "broken" because members of Congress, like Nevada's Republican Senator Dean Heller, have refused to use the power the Constitution bestows upon Congress to bring Obama’s criminal executive branch to heel.

Today Is A Good Day To Recall The November Mandate Voters Gave The GOP

Obama’s State of the Union address is a good time to remind your Member of Congress that he or she was elected to protect and defend the Constitution from the tidal wave of Obama's encroachments that threaten the basic God-given freedom from government that individuals are guaranteed.

The Comedy Value of a Graham Prez Bid

Daniel Larison, American Conservative

The idea of Graham running for president is inherently silly, and it probably won’t amount to much. One can assume that the purpose of a quixotic Graham campaign would be to promote his toxic cocktail of hard-line foreign policy and “centrist” immigration views.

Secure Border, Punish Illegals: R's New Amnesty Measures

Stephen Dinan, Washington Times

House R's are moving ahead with legislation to force the Homeland Security Department to secure the worst parts of the southern border within two years, and to have the entire 2,000-mile border under control within five years.
