The Bolshevik Revolution: A Century of Death and Destruction

Communist rulers both murdered promiscuously and implemented policies which resulted in mass death, through famine, for instance. The hardship, including poverty, starvation, oppression, and inhumanity, is incalculable. Equally brutal was the assault on the human spirit.

Hillary Clinton, Alger Hiss and the Schism in the American Soul

Just as in the 1950s the American Left and the Democratic Party tried to convince their fellow citizens that the objective truth of Communist penetration of the American government did not exist, so today's Democrats maintain the lie that the Clintons have done nothing worth investigating.

The Latest Marxist Proposal from NYC’s Sandinista Mayor

George Neumayr, The American Spectator

This week De Blasio unveiled a proposed tax on the “wealthy” in order to fix New York City’s crumbling subway system and fund “half-price fares” for some 800,000 low-income riders. His previous efforts, which include a “mansion tax,” went nowhere, and likely this one will too. Such a lumbering proposal doesn’t address the existing emergency. As Joe Lhota, who has been parachuted in to fix the subway system, points out, “I can’t wait a year.”

The Communist Cardinals of Pope Francis

George Neumayr, The American Spectator

The communists used to say that they would kill the last king with the guts of the last pope. But they don’t say that anymore. Now they celebrate the papacy, marveling at the relentless left-wing propaganda of Pope Francis, whose election, as the late 1960s radical Tom Hayden once put it, was “more miraculous” than the rise of Barack Obama.

Pope Francis’s Communist Mentor

George Neumayr, The American Spectator

After Pope Francis early in his papacy decried capitalism as “trickle-down economics” — a polemical phrase coined by the left during the Reagan years that Francis frequently borrows — radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh commented, “This is just pure Marxism coming out of the mouth of the Pope.” Pope Francis took such comments as a compliment. “I have met many Marxists in my life who are good people, so I don’t feel offended,” he told the Italian press.

Women's Marchers Unite!

Paul Kengor, The American Spectator

One might think that today’s left would shy away from figures like Davis. But again, anyone who thinks that doesn’t know the left. The likes of Angela Davis are not embarrassments to today’s left; they are heroes. And this past weekend, Davis was listed literally first among the female comrades who were the poster-girls to the Women’s March on Washington.

The Summer Revolution Part 2: Democrats to Spend $800,000 to Disrupt GOP Convention

It wouldn’t matter whether Donald Trump or Jeb Bush was leading the Republican field – a summer of radical Leftist violence is coming, and it was planning, building and organizing long before Donald Trump became the presumptive Republican candidate for President. And in their plans to disrupt the GOP Convention Democrats will be working hand-in-glove with their allies on the far-Left, many funded by Leftist billionaire George Soros.

Germany Lurches Left: Politicians Sacrifice German Liberty and Germany’s Future

Europe’s largest economy “is running out of puff” with slow labor productivity, falling investment, and minimal reforms since the start of the Euro crisis in large measure because, “Merkel and company parceled out other people’s money with a friendly smile.”

Peter King’s Political Fraud

Jeffrey Lord, American Spectator

Establishment Republican Rep. Peter King, a Ted Cruz GOP critic, allies with socialist and Communist favorites.
