California is home to more illegal aliens than any other state and given those numbers, it should surprise no one that the formerly “Golden State” is now officially the poverty capital of America. California — not Mississippi, New Mexico, or West Virginia — has the highest poverty rate in the United States.

While the White House proposal technically ends chain migration and the lottery, it uses ALL those visas to bring in the 4 million people on the visa waiting list. That means current immigration levels will continue for the next 10-15 years or more AND amnesty will be granted to a minimum of 1.8 million illegals. These are permanent changes to America's electorate. If this passes the Trump proposal will make Republicans a permanent minority party and limited government constitutional conservatism a soon-to-be extinct philosophy of government.

The current level of immigration, even without amnesty, will add nearly 15 million new Left-leaning voters to our polity. Add to that amnesty for millions of mostly Mexican and Central American DACA beneficiaries and Trump will make Republicans a permanent minority party and limited government constitutional conservatism a soon-to-be extinct philosophy of government.

Make no mistake about what happened on Monday – this was not a win for conservatives. All that happened was that Democrats and open borders “Republicans” such as Senators Lindsey Graham and Jeff Flake have been given three more weeks to line-up the pro-amnesty votes in Congress and hammer President Trump in the media.

It is inconceivable to us that Republican “leaders” cannot grasp what a strong political position they now hold vis-à-vis the Democrats, and how the future of their majority now balances on a knife’s edge. We urge CHQ readers to call the toll free Capitol Switchboard (1-866-220-0044), ask for House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy and Senator John Cornyn, tell them conservatives will bolt the GOP if they trade ending the #SchumerShutdown for amnesty for illegal aliens.

President Trump called the deal proposed by Senators Flake and Durbin “horrible” on border security funding, the President also said the deal was “very, very weak” when it came to the White House’s preferred changes to the legal immigration system. "It's the opposite of what I campaigned for," the President.
Thanks a Lot, Chauncey Gardner
This entire debacle was an exercise in denying the people what they wanted, not to mention attempting to cover up their own mistakes. That NRSC chairman Cory Gardner, McConnell, and the rest of the Establishment mouthpieces have fanned out across the media spectrum to tell GOP voters of the virtues of Tuesday night’s result is perfect evidence of this. This debacle constitutes a betrayal, witting or otherwise, of Republican voters and donors alike, and it’s time for McConnell to step down as the majority leader.

The game here isn’t electing Republicans – it is “crushing” conservatives as Mitch McConnell swore to do before the 2014 election. We predict that McConnell will, as he did in Mississippi in 2014, pull out all the stops to kill Roy Moore’s campaign, even if it means electing Far-Left Democrat Doug Jones to the U.S. Senate and jeopardizing the Republican majority.

Vice President Pence's Chief of Staff Nick Ayers told a group of major donors to the RNC they should call members of Congress and tell them if they don't pass Trump's agenda "we’re recruiting opponents, we’re maxing out to their campaigns, and we’re funding super PACs to defeat all of you.”
Media Hoping for Estab.–Tea Party Civil War
It's no surprise when most GOP incumbents survive their primaries; incumbency provides big advantages. Any cycle where R's elect Ben Sasse, Joni Ernst, & Cory Gardner to the Senate, & manage to knock off the House maj. leader, is a great year for the Tea Party agenda.
SPECIAL PRE-ELECTION REPORT: CHQ’s Toss-Up Senate Races and How You Can Help
Email, social media, especially Twitter and Facebook, and online video are now important parts of any successful campaign and we can’t win without them as the Romney campaign’s failed online effort demonstrated in 2010. A number of conservatives have voiced concern over Colorado’s new all mail voting system, but state resident – and voting judge – Aaron Gardner thinks the worries are mostly unfounded. As a result, Gardner is expecting a win for the Republicans in the key Senate race on Election Day.
