Memo to House Republicans: Ryan’s Agenda Will Help Trump and Cruz

Speaker Ryan is completely tone deaf to what is driving the outsider candidacies of Ted Cruz and Donald Trump. They are not winning the Republican Primaries by campaigning against Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders – they are winning by campaigning against Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell, John Boehner, Reince Priebus and the rest of the feckless, principle-free Capitol Hill Republican leaders. Ryan’s plan for this year’s budget will only fuel their candidacies.

Bush, Rubio and Kasich: The Establishment’s Whack-a-Mole Candidates

They rise and fall through the ups and downs of the media cycle, mechanically mouth the same positions that are at odds with the views of the Republican Party’s conservative grassroots base and are eventually whacked back down below ground level when conservatives understand they hold the same views on immigration, amnesty for illegal aliens and Common Core as do Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.

Presidential Horse Race 2016: ABC Republican debate: The beginning of repetitious Rubio’s precipitous decline

Marco Rubio’s canned and thrice (at least) repeated response to Chris Christie’s attacks on his “25 second speech” will likely damage the Florida senator’s chances in New Hampshire and beyond. Plus,  ABC does a few things differently; Carly Fiorina was barred at the door, but will it end up helping her?; Get the ring ready, the establishment appears ready to propose; Cruz quietly makes his points, shores up conservative support; Trump doesn’t understand eminent domain but loves the police, and, In two more days, we’ll know.

Sorry Rush, You Missed It On Rubio

We think Rush missed it big time with his comment about Senator Rubio because, based on his record going back to when he was in the Florida legislature, if Marco Rubio is a “full throated conservative” it is because he is all talk on our issues.

What Donald Trump voters really care about and why he can’t help them

For Donald Trump’s backers, it all boils down to one thing – Trump is a smart, blunt-talking businessman who has succeeded his whole life and will fix things. He’s from outside the system and that’s enough. He’ll make great deals whereas all the previous government leaders have been too stupid to know a good deal if it smacked them across the face. But the Trump candidacy is a ruse. There’s only one candidate who can truly deliver on what they want.

Presidential Horse Race 2016: Establishment’s last shot fails to bag Ted Cruz

Thursday's debate proved there's plenty of life without Donald Trump. Plus, Crazy conspiracy theory: Trump is looking for an exit strategy; Death March of the undercard former Iowa winners; Candidates enjoy a seven-on-none power play against Trump, don’t even shoot the puck; With Trump gone, it was kick Ted Cruz night; Establishment vs. establishment, everyone loses, and, Summing it up – let’s get it started already.

Why The Establishment Of Both Parties Prefers Trump Over Cruz

In what only the Left could consider an attack on Ted Cruz, Clinton Labor Secretary Robert Reich gives Cruz higher points than Trump on the issues that matter to most Republicans and inadvertently explains why the establishment of both political parties believes it can make a deal with Donald Trump, but not Ted Cruz.
