Conservatives, I Urge You to Join Me: Unite Behind Trump and Pence
By: Richard A. Viguerie, CHQ Chairman
Friends, we've had our howl of frustration, but this is now a binary choice: Trump and Pence vs. Hillary Clinton. In this battle there is only the victory or defeat of constitutional liberty and the rule of law. In this battle there is no third option, there is no compromise, there is no sitting out the election. I’m all in for Trump and Pence and I urge you to join me and them in making America great again.
Conservatives: We Need To Fight And Win The Election We Have
Some of our conservative friends can’t seem to stop wishing for the election they want, instead of concentrating on winning the election they have. However, despite this lack of ability to focus on winning, the tools to win are actually there, in a way they haven’t been available to Republicans in the past several presidential election cycles.
McCain: Mike Lee 'signing the death warrants' of American allies
McCain's charge came at the end of a fight on the Senate floor between Lee, McCain and South Carolina Republican Lindsey Graham over which amendments to the National Defense Authorization Act should receive a vote.
Trump Haters On The Right Versus Reality
Trump haters on the right seem to think that the battle to govern America according to conservative principles is over – and nothing could be further from the truth. If Donald Trump was not your candidate – so be it. But the battle to govern America according to conservative principles is hardly over – it has just begun -- it’s time for people truly interested in the future of this country to stop trashing Trump and to start trying to influence him.
Erick and Bill Have Jumped the #NeverTrump Shark
Two conservative thinkers for whom we have a great deal of respect, Bill Kristol and Erick Erickson, have finally jumped the shark and entered a bizarre new #NeverTrump political dimension where Mitt Romney is a viable candidate for president and forming a third party five months before the election is a realistic means of electing an alternative to Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump.
McCain: GOP must 'listen to people' who back Trump
Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz, broke Sunday with GOP colleagues including ally Lindsey Graham by suggesting Republicans rally behind Donald Trump.
Marco Rubio = Jeb Bush without the good manners
If you take Jeb Bush’s policies and record on spending, education and amnesty for illegal aliens and add-in John McCain’s policies and record on amnesty for illegal aliens, bringing Muslims to America and engaging in endless and inconclusive adventures in the Middle East, and then add a dash of support for the Obama and Hillary Clinton disasters in Libya and Syria, plus a strong dose of their views on amnesty and funding left-wing racist organizations, you don’t get a limited government constitutional conservative – what you get is Marco Rubio – Jeb Bush, without the integrity and good manners.
In Celebration Of Ted Cruz’s Tough Tactics In Iowa
Much as the Iowa losers would like to make it otherwise, Hillary Clinton is going to run a smart, technologically savvy, in the moment, ruthless wedge-issue-driven campaign and trying to defeat the Clinton machine using the rules of etiquette as taught at a finishing school for little girls is a sure formula for defeat.
Rick Santorum’s Bizarre and Hypocritical Endorsement of Marco Rubio
Rick Santorum attempted to present himself as an advocate for the all but forgotten interests of America’s working men and women, yet when Santorum exited the campaign he hypocritically chose to endorse Senator Marco Rubio – the leading advocate of open borders and amnesty for illegal aliens; the very policies that Santorum campaigned against.
Sorry Rush, You Missed It On Rubio
We think Rush missed it big time with his comment about Senator Rubio because, based on his record going back to when he was in the Florida legislature, if Marco Rubio is a “full throated conservative” it is because he is all talk on our issues.
Retire John McCain
He wrote the McCain-Kennedy and “Gang of Eight” immigration bills that offered amnesty to millions of illegal aliens. He voted for the Wall Street bailout, to fund the implementation of Obamacare, for the $600 billion “fiscal cliff” tax hike, and to raise the debt limit 14 different times! John McCain lost his way a long time ago and it’s time to replace him with a strong conservative leader who will support and defend the Constitution.
Cruz fires back on citizenship, says McCain is trying to help Rubio
Cruz brushed off McCain's suggestion that it was "worth looking into" the issue, saying the 2008 GOP nominee is simply trying to help Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) win the Republican nomination – because McCain and Rubio share similar issue positions, especially on amnesty.
Presidential Horse Race 2016: GOP’s approval rating hits new low as candidates vie for debate spots
A little over a week out from the first GOP presidential debate, the sixteen declared Republican candidates face the daunting prospect of trying to buck the party’s negative image, please its angry conservative voting base and win the nomination.
Establishment’s Games Will Only Solidify Trump’s Support
A recent poll reveals that Donald Trump’s comments on John McCain were not as damaging as predicted and the establishment’s continued attempts to undermine Trump will only end up making him more popular with a very angry conservative Republican voting base.
Is This The Best The GOP Can Do? Mitt, Jeb and Huck?
McCain's Big Purge
Nearly a year ago, tea party agitators in AZ managed to get John McCain censured by his own state party. Now, his political team is engaging in an aggressive and systematic campaign to reshape the state GOP apparatus by ridding it of conservatives & replacing them with allies.

McCain: I Support Rand Paul for 2016
John McCain told The New Yorker that he would support Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) for president if Paul is the GOP nominee. “I’ve seen him grow and I’ve seen him mature and I’ve seen him become more centrist," McCain told The New Yorker's Ryan Liaa, who wrote a long profile of Paul.
Tea Party Sets Sights On McCain
Sen. John McCain, 78, is starting to make moves that he’s interested in a sixth term. But the Tea Party is mobilizing against him. Rep. David Schweikert, backed by the tea party crowd, said he’s mulling a run against McCain.
