Democrats to Seniors: Drop Dead

Betsy McCaughey, The American Spectator

Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, and other backers of Medicare for All are making big promises with no way to pay. Sanders has proposed several tax hikes, but altogether, they wouldn’t foot the bill for even half the estimated cost of his program. It’s make-believe math. There’s nothing make believe about Medicare Part A’s impending insolvency. Some 61 million seniors depend on Medicare and have no other means of paying their hospital bills. Millions more will become dependent in the next six years. For White House contenders to ignore this crisis is a slap in the face to seniors and middle-aged Americans counting on Medicare.

DeWeese: The Solution to Healthcare Reform

Get government completely out of the healthcare industry where they don’t belong. Don’t try to write whole new policies. Let the insurance companies create policies to fit the market’s needs.

Asked if the measure needed to be fully paid for, he said, "I'd do it no matter what it takes.”

Cruz Fights Obamacare Subsidies – GOP Leaders Attack Him

Cruz is right to oppose H. R. 4414, not only on the general policy that revisions to Obamacare should apply to all consumers, but because hidden in the bill is a precedent that undercuts the phony economics of Obamacare and will lead to even greater taxpayer subsidies in the future.

Yes, Obama’s Amnesty Will Raid Social Security and Medicare

Obama's White House staff has admitted that many illegals who will be protected from deportation by Obama’s unconstitutional amnesty plan will be eligible to receive a “wide array” of government benefits, including Social Security and Medicare.
