Satanic Group Demands ‘Religious’ Exemption From Abortion Laws

The Satanic Temple, which describes itself as facilitating “the communication and mobilization of politically-aware satanists, secularists, and advocates for individual liberty,” is demanding an exemption from abortion laws, citing the Supreme Court’s ruling in favor of Hobby Lobby. 

Johnson to Sue Over OCare Contributions

Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) plans to sue the Obama administration over the fed. contributions that lawmakers and their staffs get for health insurance. Johnson said that he believes the OPM rule broke the law, and that he thinks the lawsuit can help rein in what he sees as a pattern of executive overreach from Obama.

David Vitter, who fought to put all staff on the OCare exchanges, introduced legislation Thursday requiring members to publicize which staffers they opted to keep on the current fed. employee health plan, and which staffers were going on the exchanges.

Obamacare’s Most Despicable Provision

If Republicans can’t stand on conservative principles and fulfill their constitutional responsibility to rein-in the executive branch by defunding Obamacare, they should at least be good politicians and put the Senate Democrats on the wrong side of an issue that has 92 percent approval by insisting on a “no Congressional exemption” provision in the continuing resolution.
