Why This Libertarian is Voting for Ken

Please forward this to your libertarian friends and contacts in Virginia. Virginians for Life and Liberty sent out an email on Sunday endorsing Ken Cuccinelli for Governor of Virginia and urging Libertarians to vote for Cuccinelli. Jay Laze's email really nailed the reasons why electing Ken will dramatically advance the Libertarian movement in Virginia and Nationally. Recent polls show Ken is within 1-2% of winning. Libertarians who join Ron and Rand Paul in backing Ken can rightfully take the credit for electing a Pro-Liberty Governor.

Bauer to GOP: Don't Exile Tea Party

Gary Bauer, Politico

Calls to jettison the tea party remind us of the GOP elites who perennially advocate abandoning conservative positions on social issues. The GOP can’t win without socially conservative voters, and it couldn’t win without the energy, ideas and votes of tea party conservatives.

Why We'll Vote for Cuccinelli

Cortney O'Brien, Townhall

A rally for Ken Cuccinelli with backer Rand Paul drew an enthusiastic crowd, some of who told why they're voting for Ken. “I believe in the right to trial by jury – someone who believes in justice. That’s why I’m voting for Ken Cuccinelli," said one supporter. Another said she'd vote for Ken because "he's the only one who's honest!"

McConnell: Ready to Fight GOP Base

Daniel Horowitz, Red State

If McConnell is willing to telegraph the message that he is so committed to avoiding brinkmanship – to the extent that he is willing to fight his own party – why would Obama ever have an incentive to negotiate on anything?

Cuccinelli: BEST Libertarian Choice

Dr. Susan Berry, Breitbart

Repub. Ken Cuccinelli has more to offer libertarians than opponent Rob Sarvis. Libertarians Ron and Rand Paul have both endorsed Cuccinelli. Libertarian Tim Carney wrote that Cuccinelli “would arguably be the most libertarian governor in the US if he wins,” a point that contrasts sharply with the libertarians' attacks.

Cuccinelli Charging in Virginia – Poll Shows Race a Toss-Up

With less than two weeks to go, the race is a toss-up that will likely be decided by turnout, a critical factor in an off-year election. Voting for Libertarian Robert Sarvis is a dead end; we urge limited government constitutional conservatives and other liberty loving voters to commit today to vote for Ken Cuccinelli.

Booker to Work W/ Paul on Drugs?

Heather Haddon, Wall Street Journal

Senator-elect Cory Booker (D-NJ) sees revamping drug policies as a principal issue he can champion once he takes office and he believes he can draw bipartisan support on the issue, even among those who supported his Repub. challenger.

Paul's New Constitutional Amendment

Burgess Everett, Politico

In response to the Obamacare exemption for Congress and other federal officials, Rand Paul wants to ensure that Congress can't ever again write laws with provisions specific to lawmakers.

Paul: Shutdown Over OCare Wrong

Boston Herald Staff

"I've always thought really if you want to talk about Obamacare, talk about how...it's going to cause unemployment, loss of hours at work and cause insurance to go up. But attaching it to shutting down the government, I didn't think was a good idea," stated Rand Paul.

Establishment GOP Surrender Grows the Conservative Movement

Those Republicans who were on the surrender side of the ObamaCare battle are done as national leaders. And here’s the first evidence of the truth of our analysis – no one in the surrender caucus is heading for Iowa or New Hampshire today to tout their success in bringing the battle to a close.

RPaul's No-War Foreign Policy Plan

Sen. Rand Paul and Isaac Applbaum, ForeignPolicy.com

The Peace Through Strength Plan: how no-nonsense negotiations can prevent a war with Iran.

Defunding ObamaCare is Just One Battle in a 101-Year War for the Soul of the GOP

Conservatives now know there’s a war going on, and they know who the enemy is; the inside elite of the Republican Party in Washington and their own state capitals. That is good news.

Senate GOP Establishment Drops Its Guns and Runs

Call your Senators NOW (the Capitol Switchboard is 1-866-220-0044) and tell them reject any deal that keeps ObamaCare subsidies for Congress, gives Big Labor a pass on ObamaCare and increases spending by doing away with the sequestration.

This is the Future of the Republican Party

The “Million Vet March” to take back the World War II Memorial and the “Truckers Ride for the Constitution" were great successes in building the limited government constitutional conservative movement.

Paul & Cruz Give Us Hope

David Limbaugh, Human Events

If Cruz and Paul had not stood up and grassroots conservatives had not held on, the public would have assumed, that R's had lost their willingness to fight for them. R's may not win this round, but they’ve already come much further than the pessimists predicted and given patriots reason for hope again.
