Senator Paul: Egypt Shows Folly Of U.S. Intervention Abroad

As Senator Rand Paul noted, the problem “with constantly intervening in these troubled parts of the world is that there are often no clear good guys or bad guys. Today's ally can quickly become tomorrow's enemy. This should be a paramount and obvious concern, but in Washington it is almost always treated as an afterthought.” Obama, neo-cons in Congress, the 40 U.S. military personnel we just sent to Egypt as “peacekeepers,” and the average American taxpayer, must now face the reality that, despite the trillions invested, our American government has done a lousy job of picking winners and losers in foreign political contests.

We Should All Share Edward Snowden’s Worst Fear

Senator Rand Paul has the right idea about Snowden, noting that while Edward Snowden told the truth about government surveillance, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper lied to Congress. Contact your Senators (U.S. Capitol: 1-866-220-0044) and urge him/her to support Rand Paul’s S. 1121 bill, the “Fourth Amendment Restoration Act of 2013.”

Is Rubio Amnesty Bill Really DOA In The House?

We would like to take Senator Paul’s word for it that the Gang of Eight bill is DOA in the House, but the fact of the matter is, the only people who can make sure it is dead in the House – and stays dead – are you, the conservative voters of America. Please stake out a spot at the end of the Fourth of July parade route to buttonhole your Congressman to let him or her know that you want border security – not amnesty – and that you oppose the Gang of Eight bill.

We Should Not Support Politicians Who Call Upholding The Constitution A Criminal Act

All of this talk of criminality and sending Snowden to prison – or worse – presupposes that what Snowden did was contrary to the law and to his oath as a government employee. What if it is the government itself that is the law-breaker, by violating the Constitution (the law that governs government) and Edward Snowden is merely supplying the corrective action necessary to bring the government back inside its proper constitutional bounds?
