Voters Sent The Republicans A Wake-Up Message

By Richard A. Viguerie, CHQ Chairman
Maybe the most powerful line in American politics is “send them a message” and on Tuesday the voters sent Republicans a series of unmistakable messages.

Republican Leadership must not fumble true immigration reform

Shari Rendall, Immigrationreform.com

History has taught us that amnesty begets more amnesty. It is time for the Republican leadership in Congress to stop always losing yards. They must tackle our immigration problem. If they can’t stand up for immigration in the national interest, perhaps Republicans should take a knee on amnesty. The only way to truly put Americans first and get across the goal line is to pass a true immigration reform package like the one President Trump sent to Capitol Hill.

Outsider Erik Prince Looking At Challenging Establishment Senator John Barrasso

While Erik Prince’s views on the conservative agenda need to be explored further before we can make any kind of endorsement, we do know a lot of things we don’t like about Senator John Barrasso, and first among them is his crony relationship with Mitch McConnell.

McConnell Refuses To Work With Conservatives On Obamacare Replacement

We urge CHQ readers to call Senator McConnell’s office (the Capitol Switchboard is 1-866-220-0044) to tell him you want a vote on the Consumer Freedom Option. Tell him it’s time for Senate Republicans to let the American people know whether they stand with consumers who want choice and freedom or with the Democrats and their abusive and intrusive Obamcare healthcare mandates.

House GOP Establishment Didn’t Get The Message Of John Mica’s Defeat

Special interest earmarks are nothing less than a legal bribe to get Members of Congress to vote for bad policy and more spending. The defeat of John Mica conclusively rebuts the argument that they are good politics.

It’s Now or Never to Save the Internet

Our economy and security are increasingly dependent on the Internet. We should not be taking a blind leap into the unknown. But that is exactly what the Obama administration is proposing by handing over control of the Internet to an unelected body that includes anti-constitutional authoritarian governments and state sponsors of terrorism.

Paul Ryan’s Hijra

Like President Obama, Speaker Paul Ryan has made increasing Muslim immigration to America his special project and has steadfastly fought any attempts by conservatives to slow or stop what a large majority of American believe is an existential threat to constitutional liberty.

Larry Craig: A Case for Donald Trump - Muslim Immigration

CHQ reader and author Larry A. Craig says bringing Muslims into our country could be the single worst mistake in our nation’s history. Our nation will bend to their will, first through polite accommodation, then through demands for equality and fairness, and then frankly you will be afraid not to give them everything they want because, frankly, you will be afraid of what will happen if you don’t. Bad laws can be undone.  Bad taxes and bad trade policies can be undone.  Bad immigration cannot. Donald Trump is the only candidate for president who has talked about stopping, even if only temporarily, Muslim immigration to America.

Larry Craig: A Case for Donald Trump, Part 2

Larry Craig says our elected officials seem to have forgotten the purpose of government in our country.  One thing that it is not for is for the government to do something and then tell the American people to like it.  Our government officials and elected representatives need to have a copy of the beginning of our Constitution printed out and mounted on their desks.  It provides a 6-point checklist for everything they do, and allowing unlimited immigration is contrary to almost every point.

Larry Craig: A Case for Donald Trump, Part 1

Larry Craig says, "For me there are five issues that are the iceberg sinking the ship.  And if the ship sinks, nothing else is going to matter.  In each case, Donald Trump is either the only one who understands the problem, has the right solution to fix the problem, or is the only one I believe will actually do what is needed to fix the problem."

Senator Ted Cruz: The Real Story of What Is Happening in Washington

After establishment Republican leaders and Democrats refused to allow Ted Cruz the courtesy of a roll-call vote on his motion to end taxpayer funding of Planned Parenthood and the Iranian nuclear deal Cruz delivered a powerful speech on the Senate floor highlighting the many examples of Republican leadership surrendering to President Obama’s demands, and reminding the Republican Party’s Capitol Hill leadership to keep their promises to the American people.

Levin: GOP won majority on a lie

Julia Hahn, Breitbart

Levin argued that on every issue from Obamacare to executive amnesty to Obamatrade, the establishment Republican Party has refused to represent the interests of Americans.

They're Not Stupid, They Just Don't Agree With Us

Steve Deace, Conservative Review

We have a choice to make. We can persist in our self-delusion and continue being treated as the GOP establishment's useful idiots. Or, we can start being honest with ourselves and do the work it takes to replace these people with our people.

Mark Levin: Beating Your Chest On FOX Is Not Enough

Real Clear Politics Staff

"The House leadership must smartly and strategically confront the president. They must subpoena some of the people around the president. Get them under oath and demand answers. Interrogate Obama and ask him a about the various scandals; focus on Benghazi."
