amnesty for illegal aliens

Paul Mirengoff, Powerline

The Supreme Court’s 4-4 decision in the executive amnesty case means that the lower court’s ruling invalidating that amnesty is affirmed. Executive amnesty will not be granted while Obama is president. If Hillary Clinton is elected, matters will be very different; she would likely be able to bring the executive amnesty issue before a Supreme Court populated by five liberal judges.

Tell Your Senators: No Illegal Aliens in the Military!

In addition to encouraging a massive flow of illegal aliens into the military in order to get a green card, at the same time we are downsizing troop levels, the national security risks are clear. The effort to hold such "must-pass" pieces of legislation like the NDAA hostage in order to force a legalization scheme on the American people is nothing more than a political game by unscrupulous politicians and the amnesty lobby. It does not serve the national interest!

The number of illegal alien families and unaccomanpied minors apprehended at the U.S.-Mexico border has soared in recent months, according to statistics released Wednesday by the federal government.

Obama Has It All Wrong: America is a Nation of Pioneers, Not Immigrants

Obama had it all wrong in his Thanksgiving address. The Pilgrims were pioneers – colonizers who undertook a voyage for “the glory of God, and advancement of the Christian faith, and honor of our king and country.” If today’s immigrants come to America with similar goals to advance Islam -- and there’s plenty of reason to believe that many legal and illegal immigrants from Muslim countries do – then we should certainly not see their arrival as a reason to celebrate, because they represent an existential threat to our way of life.

Trump: Mexican government forces many criminals back into the U.S.

David Sherfinski, The Washington Times

Real estate mogul and 2016 GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump said the Mexican government forces many criminals back into the United States, that there are “thousands” of instances “where illegal immigrants that come through our porous border are killing our citizens,” and that illegal immigration “wasn’t even a subject” until he brought it up.

Obama defies federal judge, fails to rescind wrongly issued amnesties

Stephen Dinan, The Washington Times

The Obama administration still hasn’t fully rescinded the 2,000 three-year amnesties it wrongly issued four months ago in violation of a court order, government lawyers recently admitted in court, spurring a stern response from the judge who said the matter must be cleaned up by the end of July — or else.

Cruz Introduces the Immigration Slush Fund Elimination Act

The Obama Administration has admitted it uses so-called offsetting accounts (which function like agency checking accounts) to take the fees it charges legal immigrants and use them to fund amnesty and other activities that Congress has not authorized. Eliminating Obama's ability to use the money it collects in fees to support amnesty and other unauthorized activities is a first step toward reining in the executive branch’s lawless approach to immigration.

20 Republicans Who Deserve A Primary Opponent For Supporting Amnesty Before Veterans

20 House Republican voted on the Floor to allow illegal aliens into the US armed forces at the expense of experienced and committed combat veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan. These 20 “Republicans,” and if there was ever an example of a Republican In Name Only or RINO it is these 20, deserve a conservative primary challenge in 2016 and we stand ready to help their challengers in any way we can.

GOP Senate: Surrender On Amnesty And Move On

Alexander Bolton, The Hill

Senate Republicans are fuming over the House GOP’s decision to extend the standoff over the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), a move that they say uses up political oxygen and burns precious time on the legislative calendar. GOP senators say it’s time to move on to other issues, such as the budget, trade legislation, and regulatory and tax reform.

The Real Jeb Bush and Amnesty for Illegal Aliens

Money can take you a long way in politics, it can even more or less buy you the nomination as it did Mitt Romney in 2012, but in the 2016 Republican Primary we don’t think it can nominate a candidate, like Jeb Bush, who fundamentally has the same position that Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton have on amnesty for illegal aliens.

Amnesty Doesn't Reduce The Deficit

Conn Carroll, Townhall

Obama and his amnesty activist allies can't count the increased payroll taxes from amnestied immigrants twice. Amnesty either increases the deficit by billions of dollars and increases the life span of the Social Security Trust Fund by two whole years, or amnesty decreases deficits now but only by stealing the Social Security benefits of every American who has paid into the system.

Lee: Begin Debate on DHS Funding, Executive Amnesty

Senator Mike Lee (R-UT)

“I am ready – indeed, I am eager – to begin this debate,” said Sen. Lee. “Not just because we have only twenty-five days before the current budget authority for DHS expires. But also because this debate will finally allow the American people to see where their elected representatives in the Senate stand on President Obama’s recent executive action on immigration.”

The United States of Amnesty

Chuck Ross, Daily Caller

The White House is embarking on a public relations pitch to raise awareness about Obama’s exec. amnesty, which the administration claims will provide a boost to the economy & have no negative impact on U.S. workers, a claim which even O has disputed in the past.

Border Patrol Opposes Border Bill: 'Window Dressing'

Craig Bannister, Media Research Center

The National Border Patrol Council, the union that represents more than 16,500 border patrol agents, opposes the House border security bill (H.R. 399) because it is mere “window dressing” - joining the immigration officers' union, which called the bill "a global joke."

The Bizarre Lies Behind The Establishment GOP Border Bill

The McCaul border bill is another phony show vote that does not deport one illegal alien or even implement current law to build a fence to secure the southern border. Get the details here and then call your Representative and Senators and tell them you want real border security, not phony show votes, from the new Republican Majority. SIGN THE PETITION TO STOP OBAMA'S EXECUTIVE AMNESTY NOW!

Tony Lee, Breitbart

DREAMers are planning to confront Republicans at Sat.’s inaugural Iowa Freedom Summit. DREAMers are planning “activities around the event, including confronting potential candidates to ask them where they stand on immigration reform and O's exec. action.”

Levin: R's Won’t Stop Amnesty, OCare

Cheryl K. Chumley, Washington Times

“The problem is the Amer. people reject it,” Levin said. “Once again, they go through these motions as Boehner did a few weeks ago. They’re really going to fight Obama on this issue while at the same time he has Rep. Mike McCaul coming up with the tactics for the past 6 or 7 bills.”

Round Two In The Establishment GOP’s Phony Amnesty Fight

Rep. Dave Brat and Senator Jeff Sessions are right, the Trojan Horse is being built around the McCaul border “security” bill, and on orders from their US Chamber of Commerce puppetmasters, establishment Republicans like Mike McCaul, Martha Roby, Lynn Jenkins and Markwayne Mullin are getting ready to roll it inside the city walls to swamp America’s hard-pressed working families with millions of newly amnestied illegal alien workers.
