Don’t Defund the U.N., Just Say ‘Go!’

Andrew C. McCarthy, National Review

There is one reason and one reason alone why the U.N. is relevant: because the United States is in it. It is not our financial support that the U.N. needs; it is our participation. The U.N. is a corrupt institution that is hostile to our interests and system of government while living off our prosperity, banking on our rule of law, and luxuriating in the very society it so routinely condemns. And we continue to legitimize it.

Planned Parenthood's New Annual Report: 323,999 Abortions; $553.7M in Government Money

Penny Star, CNS News

Planned Parenthood says in its new 2014-2015 annual report, which was released this month, that its affiliates around the country did 323,999 abortion procedures in the fiscal year that ended on Sept. 30, 2014 and that those affiliates received $553.7 million in “government health services grants and reimbursements” in the year that ended on June 30, 2015.

Four Days to Save America: Demand Your Rep. Sign Ken Buck’s Defund Letter

As the clock ticks down to the final vote a group of conservative House members, led by CHQ endorsed Representative Ken Buck of Colorado, have stepped forward to demand that the House “leadership” take a comprehensive approach to defunding Obama’s agenda by using its Article I constitutional power to serve as the basis for funding priorities in appropriations bills. Please sign our open letter to Congress demanding that Republicans defund Obama's dangerous and unconstitutional agenda.

The Disgrace of Planned Parenthood

Jeffrey Lord, American Spectator

We believe in the First Amendment here. The Planned Parenthood apparatchiks have the constitutional right to say anything they want. Just like all those long ago liberals who, defying the fact of Lee Harvey Oswald’s pro-Communist beliefs, sought to blame the Right for the death of a president. But the rest of us have the right to realize just how ridiculous what they are saying really is. And dangerous, too.

We Explain Why Mitch McConnell Will Betray Conservatives And Actually Help Obama Fund Planned Parenthood

Ted Cruz is right – if the Republican “leadership” actually tried to win, they would vote on one bill after another that funded specific programs of the federal government, while defunding Planned Parenthood in the same bill. But we don't think Mitch McConnell will ever fight to defund Planned Parenthood because he's supported the abortion industry over and over again throughout his 30-year Senate career.

It’s Not About a Shutdown

Erick Erickson, RedState

This is a fight on principle over whether the Republican Party should stand by and let our tax dollars be used to subsidize the American Mengeles of Planned Parenthood or not. This is a fight about whether our tax dollars should be used to subsidize harvesting children’s brains and hearts and lungs and livers.

Defunding Planned Parenthood: The GOP Leadership’s Next Self-Inflicted Crisis

At some point, Congress has to do what's right -- not just from a political standpoint, but from a moral one, and on defunding Planned Parenthood that time is now. If there’s a government shutdown, better that than continuing to make every American taxpayer complicit in the murder of thousands of babies and the trafficking of their dismembered bodies.

Schlafly: We Must Defund This Horror Now

Conservative icon Phyllis Schlafly has issued a clarion call to Capitol Hill Republicans in the wake of the latest horror video about Planned Parenthood's trafficking in the tissue and organs of the children it kills. Planned Parenthood is the national shame of our country. Congress must defund this monstrous organization immediately.

Rep. Jim Bridenstine: Prohibit Government Contracts to Companies that Donate to Planned Parenthood

“It is sad that both parties in Congress are complicit in continuing to fund Planned Parenthood through last minute, massive spending bills like CRs (continuing resolutions) or omnibus bills.  I have not and will not vote for any spending bill that sends one cent to Planned Parenthood," said principled limited government constitutional conservative Rep. Jim Bridenstine upon introducing H.R.3245, a bill to prohibit federal government contracts from going to companies that donate to Planned Parenthood.
