Equality Act

Networks Endorse Taylor Swift's 'Equality' Lobbying

L. Brent Bozell III and Tim Graham, CNS News

Swift's pushing a bill called the Equality Act, sponsored by gay Congressman David Cicilline and Sen. Jeff Merkley. As she sang her song about the haters, MTV put the words "EQUALITY ACT" in huge bold letters above her. The bill explicitly sets out to guarantee that religion cannot be used as a defense. The LGBTQ orthodoxy shreds dissent. There is no debate allowed. There are "allies" like Taylor Swift, and there are "hateful" people who must be punished. This oppressive regime started in Hollywood and aspires to end in every corner where people still cling to their Bibles and their guns — their other cause.

Call Congress NOW To Stop The ‘Equality Act’

If the Equality Act (H.R.5) passes, standing for traditional sexual morality would essentially be outlawed. And it's so bad for women that radical feminists are now joining with conservative Christian women to fight it. We urge CHQ readers and friends to call their Senators and Representative (the toll-free Capitol Switchboard is 1-866-220-0044) NOW to demand they vote NO on HR 5, the so-called Equality Act.

Conservative Action Project: Conservatives Oppose Legislation that Undermines Women And People of Faith

Conservatives are united in strong opposition to the Democrat-sponsored “Equality Act” and the “Fairness for All Act.” The titles of these bills belie their consequences, which will undermine parental rights, and the pro-life and conscience rights of medical professionals, make environments inherently unfair, unequal, and unsafe for women and curtail religious freedom for both religious organizations and people of faith.

Christian Conservative Women and Radical Feminists Agree and Oppose the Equality Act

The Equality Act, which sounds all well and good, is an unmitigated disaster for women and girls. It is not possible to both enshrine gender identity in civil rights law and protect women and girls as a distinct legal category at the same time. It’s just not possible.
