The Conservative leaders of the Conservative Action Project representing over 100 organizations from all elements of the conservative movement have issued a statement expressing their opposition to the enactment of so-called Red Flag laws at the state or federal level. These laws trample on the constitutional rights of Americans. And they do nothing to prevent mass shootings.

We know the House Democrats can pass virtually any gun control measure they want. The real challenge is to make sure that House Republicans don’t join them. Because if they do, then that will cause Senate Republicans to defect in large numbers and gun control will pass both chambers of Congress, putting constitutional liberty in dire jeopardy.
