We hope the publication of the anonymous op-ed in The New York Times galvanizes the President to cull out those establishment Republican hacks, Democrats and Deep State operatives who have been slow walking his policies, but until he puts someone who shares his agenda in charge of White House Personnel that is unlikely to happen.
Trump’s Original Sin
Steve Bannon's "60 Minutes" interview provided one sentence that explained most of President Trump's difficulties; “48 hours after we won” a fundamental decision was made to embrace the establishment because Trump needed to “govern.”
Time to Govern, Republicans
Republicans worried that an unpopular vote will cost them their seats need to realize that there is no safe harbor anymore. Failure to govern will also cost Republicans their majority. Their choice is between being thrown out of power for incompetence, and heading into the 2018 midterm elections having demonstrated ability and resolve.
