terrorism

This is a brilliant move by Donald Trump

Erick Erickson, Erickontheradio.com

The day after the President failed to reassure a scared public following the second worst terrorist attack since 9/11 on domestic soil, Donald Trump not only got himself to the right of all the other candidates, but also got every single one of them save for Ted Cruz to align themselves with Barack Obama.

Why did Obama give that terrorism speech?

Byron York, Washington Examiner

Obama's brief speech — immediately after, he donned a tuxedo and dashed to a Kennedy Center gala — contained no new measures against ISIS, and he spent as much time repeating old warnings not to offend Muslim sensibilities as he spent discussing any particular effort to combat terrorism.

The President is a Cancer on our Nation

Erick Erickson, Erickontheradio.com

On his way to the Kennedy Center last night, President Obama deigned to lecture the American people again. He stood at a podium in the Oval Office looking down at us and, no doubt, hiding the teleprompter reflection in the windows we would have gotten if he had sat down. What he said was again divisive, again unhelpful, and again less than reassuring.

8 Days to Save America: Cruz and Sessions Demand the Truth on Muslim Immigration Terror Threat

House Republican leaders are reportedly planning to abandon their original idea to tighten screening of refugees and are instead caving to Democrats who want to only fix security gaps in the legal-visitor visa program. But Senators Ted Cruz and Jeff Sessions have stepped forward to demand the truth on the Muslim immigration terror threat. Please join us in demanding an end to this dangerous folly by signing our open letter to House and Senate Republican leaders.

Blaming White Americans First

Erick Erickson, Erickontheradio.com

There is an interesting trend worth noting. In the face of tragedy, the political left always blames rational Americans first — not crazies, not terrorists, but rational Americans with whom they have political disagreements, who tend to be white, Christian, and Republican.

First suspect identified as Syed Farook, 'very religious' Muslim

Anna Giaritelli, Washington Examiner

One of the deceased suspects behind the San Bernardino shootings on Wednesday has been identified as Syed Farook of Redlands, Calif. "He was very religious. He would go to work, come back, go to pray, come back. He's Muslim," his estranged father of the same name told the New York Daily News.

9 Days to Save America: Sen. Sessions Says GOP Congress has “the overwhelming power” to Stop Obama

As Senator Jeff Sessions pointed out unless GOP leaders in Congress—the party controls both chambers, the House and the Senate—do something to pull back on Obama’s “blank checks” for potentially-ISIS-connected Syrian refugees and other potential terrorists, there’s no way to stop Obama from bringing them in. Please join us by signing our open letter to House and Senate Republican leaders demanding they use their "overwhelming power" to stop Obama’s dangerous policies and unconstitutional actions.

Cruz and DeSantis Pair on Terrorist Refugee Infiltration Prevention Act

In a not-so-subtle shot at the national security credibility of Senator Marco Rubio and former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, Rep. Ron DeSantis (FL-06), CHQ’s endorsed candidate in the Florida Senate primary to succeed Rubio, has joined forces with Senator Ted Cruz on the Terrorist Refugee Infiltration Prevention Act.

It Only Takes One: Why We Must Stop Importing Jihad Through Muslim Immigration

Regarding the way ISIS operates retired General Michael Flynn, formerly Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency had this to say, "...there's likely a leader or a leadership structure in each country in Europe. The same is probably similar for the United States, but just not obvious yet...In Paris, there were eight guys. In Mali, there were 10. Next time, maybe one or two guys will be enough."

11 Days to Save America: Defund Obama’s Disastrous Policies or be Complicit in the Destruction of Our Country

We have 11 days to stop the funding of Obama’s priorities; it is time to tell Republicans in Congress that we demand an end to the “show votes” and that instead of giving Obama a blank check for the final year of his administration they must exercise the power the Constitution gave them to stand as a check against Obama’s dangerous policies and unconstitutional actions.

We Can – And Should – Ban Most Muslim Immigration To America

FLASH: Muslim terrorists take 170 people hostage at Mali luxury hotel. What all of the elite policymakers, like Speaker Paul Ryan and President Barack Obama, who advocate allowing, or even increasing Muslim immigration to the United States fail to grasp is that Islam is not a “religion” as those steeped in the Western Enlightenment understand the term. It is a totalitarian political system that seeks to manage the lives of adherents to the smallest detail and vest total power in the system's leaders.

25 Governors Said NO To Syrian Refugees: Will GOP Congress Help?

UPDATED: The count now up to the Governors of 30 states* (29 of them Republicans) who have now said “NO” to bringing Syrian “refugees” to their communities, but the Republican leaders of Capitol Hill, Speaker of the House Paul Ryan and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, have been completely silent on whether they will support these Governors by moving legislation to defund Obama’s jihad importation program.

American Christians Should Stop Hurting Sudanese Christians With Sanctions

There was and remains much about which to criticize Sudan’s government. However, U.S. sanctions have lost any purpose they once may have had. Most important for American Christians, the sanctions hurt believers already living and worshipping in difficult circumstances. The world has changed since sanctions were first imposed. Washington’s policy toward Sudan should change as well.

Saudi Arabia is a Frenemy Which Makes the World More Dangerous

The House of Saud for years has helped spread radical and violent Islam by subsidizing fundamentalist Wahhabi teachings at home and abroad. This theology celebrates hostility to modernity and encourages extremism and terrorism.

Why Cruz Thinks O Is Failing on Terrorism

Pete Kasperowicz, The Blaze

Ted Cruz warned that Obama will not be able to effectively fight terrorist attacks as long as it’s unable to identify radical Islam as a source of those attacks. “You cannot defeat radical Islamic terrorism if you’re unwilling to utter the words ‘radical Islamic terrorism."

Levin: Greatest Threat Today Is Islamo-Nazism

Right Scoop Staff

Mark Levin opened his show talking about the war the world is in with Muslim terrorists, saying that it's the greatest threat in the world today. He noted that, at such a time as this, we have the weakest political leadership in not just his lifetime, but many lifetimes.

So Much For “The Religion Of Peace”

We are in a war of ideas, not just with radical Islamists, but with concepts deeply embedded in Muslim culture. And as long as mass legal (and illegal) immigration from Muslim countries continues unabated we are losing that war.

Terrorism Fight Risks Shutdown

Scott Wong & Kevin Cirilli, The Hill
