Stockman Convicted Through Government Trickery Says New Brief

A new “friend of the Court” brief asking that the conviction of former Rep. Steve Stockman be thrown-out has been submitted by a group of conseratives led by CHQ Chairman Richard A Viguerie. The brief says "To reach a conviction and this draconian sentence for the outspoken former Congressman Stockman, the government confused the law governing nonprofit fundraising and campaign finance, and presented its case in a manner that confused the jury."

The Growing Drive To Destroy The Beef Industry

If one reads the documents and statements from the World Wildlife Fund, the United Nations Environment Program and others involved, it is not hard to realize that the true goal is not to produce a better grade of beef, but to ban it altogether. The question must then be asked, why are Ag industy groups allowing this to happen, and indeed, are joining with the Sustainable Beef Roundtable to force these policies on America's farmers and ranchers?

Assault on America, Day 161: Hillary, Obama, GOP heads and the politics of cowardice & losing

Along with his many predictions of “winning” President Trump’s known for calling his opponents “losers” and gloating over their failures. Such talk may not go over well on a playground, but in the world of politics you can say anything you want as long as you back it up. Trump’s done it -- a lot.

Turbocharging The Big Lie About Russian Interference In The 2016 Election

Today’s column by Diana West carefully parses the comments made last month by former CIA Director and Defense Secretary Robert Gates in an interview during the May 12, 2019 edition of “Face the Nation.” Ms. West’s conclusion: If the colossal con of "Russian interference" had not worked like an evil charm, it would be pathetic.

Is It Mutiny Or Command Failure?

President Donald Trump has been working to restore sound priorities that promote military readiness, not demoralizing social agendas that the previous administration pushed to extremes. Recent news reports brought to our attention by our friends at the Center for Military Readiness suggest, however, that some Defense Department and military officials are not following the President’s lead and orders.

Assault on America, Day 160: Biden honeymoon about to be buried under avalanche of facts

Now that the real work’s about to start in the 2020 presidential race it’s clear Democrats will have their hands full trying to figure out how to treat Joe Biden. The media is quick to highlight all of Biden’s supposed advantages, but when his flaws start hitting the light of day, watch out.

Far Left ‘Abortion Barbie’ Running Against Conservative Congressman Chip Roy

Far Left former Texas state Senator Wendy Davis, whose 11th hour antics on the floor of the Texas Senate temporarily stopped a 2013 bill to tighten restrictions on abortion looks like she is planning to run against principled limited government constitutional conservative Rep. Chip Roy in Texas congressional district 21.

The Most Important Thing Any Senator Wrote Last Week

Our United States Senators write thousands of pages of legislation every week; draft bills, committee mark-ups, and the rare bills that become law. But none of those thousands of pages of laws or potential laws written last week compare in importance to a brief article written for Christianity Today by Senator Joshua Hawley of Missouri.

Assault on America, Day 159: How damaged would things be today if Romney won in 2012?

Whether it’s Democrats or certain Republicans (like Mitt Romney) it’s clear Americans will be dissatisfied as long as the establishment mans the government’s levers of power. President Trump shows no let-up in his drive to drain the swamp -- but he’ll need many more liberty-loving helpers to make it a reality.

Massive Victory For Religious Freedom Over Obamacare Contraceptive Mandate

In a sweeping victory for religious freedom, that the media has refused to cover and Google has all but hidden from search results, a federal court in Texas permanently blocked the federal government from enforcing the Obamacare “Contraceptive Mandate” against any employer or individual who objects to the provision of contraception on religious grounds.

CAP Leaders: Higher Education Reauthorization Must Treat All Schools & Students Equally

With college campuses becoming increasingly intolerant to ideas and debate, it is more important than ever that federal policy allow diversity of views to flourish. As the HEA moves forward, conservatives urge congressional Republicans to stand firm on principles of equal treatment and fairness for all students, and all schools.

Assault on America, Day 156: Trump bashers’ conduct defies apples to oranges comparison

It’s extremely hard to compare today’s political predicament to those of the past because there’s never been a president quite like Donald Trump and Democrats of today are a breed apart from their predecessors. Impeachment will happen -- or it won’t -- and life will stay putrid and stagnant in the DC swamp.
