Dem VP Tim Kaine: Another Islamist Sympathizer In The White House

In our articles “Is Huma Abedin Hillary Clinton’s Alger Hiss?” and “Yes, the Muslim Penetration of America Is Real” and “Why Ben Carson Is Right – No Muslim Should Be President Of The United States” we documented that anti-constitutional Muslim Brotherhood sympathizers and agents of influence have penetrated Hillary Clinton’s State Department staff and political operation.

Tim KaineAnd through their Freedom of Information Act requests and related lawsuits our friends at Judicial Watch have uncovered that Muslim Brotherhood-connected Clinton aide Huma Abedin was at the very center of the massive security breach caused by Mrs. Clinton’s private email server.

But what has received less attention are the documented two-decade-long ties between Democratic vice presidential nominee Senator Tim Kaine and Muslim Brotherhood operatives and front groups.

Virginia is a hotbed of Islamism in America and Kaine, Virginia’s former Governor and now junior Senator, has received thousands of dollars in contributions from individuals associated with the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) and the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), both unindicted co-conspirators in the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development (HLF) case – the largest terror-funding trial in U.S. history.

Kaine likewise has ties to Jamal al Barzinji, an Iraqi-born businessman and founder of the Islamic Society of North America and the International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT) which was also demonstrated by the Justice Department to be an unindicted coconspirator in the HLF case.

All told, Kaine received more than $43,000 from the New Dominion PAC, a front for various Islamist groups, including the International Institute of Islamic Thought which donated $10,000 to the PAC.

Likewise, Breitbart reports that the Middle East Forum’s Islamist Money in Politics database shows another $4,300 donated to Kaine’s Senate campaign in 2011-2012 by officials from Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) and the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). Another $3,500 came from Hisham Al-Talib, a leader from Barzinji’s IIIT organization.

Kaine of course defends his Islamist friends or pleads ignorance of his friends and supporters’ ties to the Muslim Brotherhood and Islamist terrorist organizations, but their ties are so public and so deep that only willful blindness could leave Tim Kaine in doubt about how dangerous his friends are to constitutional liberty.

As our friend former Assistant U.S. Attorney, and Islamist terrorist prosecutor, Andrew C. McCarthy documented in his article for National Review, “International Institute of Islamic Thought and the Muslim Brotherhood” there is abundant evidence tying the International Institute of Islamic Thought to the Muslim Brotherhood and its agenda:

To begin with, the Brotherhood is prominently cited in DOJ’s coconspirator list for the HLF case. More significantly, central to the HLF prosecution was the Brotherhood’s 1991 internal memorandum, discussed in my column. The IIIT is expressly identified by the Muslim Brotherhood in that memorandum as being among “our organizations and the organizations of our friends.” In addition, IIIT board members Jamal Barzinji and Yaqub Mirza have been identified in an FBI investigation as leading members of the Muslim Brotherhood. Barzinji is also listed as secretary-general of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA). As noted in my column, ISNA is specifically cited as coconspirator by the Justice Department. Moreover, Sayyid Syeed, a founder of IIIT, was also a founder of the ISNA. Syeed has also served on the board of advisers of the Council for American Islamic Relations (CAIR), which is also cited in the Justice Department’s HLF coconspirator list.

IIIT board member Barzinji was also a co-founder of the Muslim Students Association that was later merged into ISNA. Abdel Rahman Alamoudi is a close associate of Barzinji’s. As the Hudson Institute’s Zeyno Baran has recounted, when IIIT convinced the U.S. government to allow IIIT to be “the official arbiters of Islam in the U.S. military,” Alamoudi was tasked to select Muslim chaplains for American armed forces. Alamoudi, who has been probed in the Justice Department’s investigations of the IIIT and Sami al-Arian, was later convicted for illegal transactions with the Libyan government and assisting in a plot to assassinate then-Crown Prince Abdullah of Saudi Arabia.

Finally, as detailed in my column, the IIIT was a major contributor to al-Arian, a former Muslim Brotherhood member who was later convicted of terrorism charges arising out of his association with Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ). PIJ has long been formally designated as a foreign terrorist organization under U.S. law. IIIT cofounder and president, Shaykh Taha Jabir al-Awani, was cited by the Justice Department as unindicted coconspirator number 5 in the al-Arian case.

McCarthy’s exposé of Barzinji, IIIT and their connection to the Muslim Brotherhood was published July 24, 2010 while Kaine was campaigning for the Senate and still taking money from individuals associated with Muslim Brotherhood front groups, such as CAIR, ISNA and IIIT.

Like Hillary Clinton, either through willful blindness or sympathy with its anti-western agenda, for almost two decades Tim Kaine has associated with and allowed himself to be penetrated by the Muslim Brotherhood and its front groups.

At a time when Islam’s war against the West is reaching a crucial and increasingly violent phase, electing Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine as President and Vice President, two individuals with documented ties to the Muslim Brotherhood and other Islamist front groups, amounts to national suicide.
