For the second week in a row, Congressman Ron Paul won ConservativeHQ.com's GOP presidential straw poll. However, Paul saw a drop of 2 percent, taking 35 percent of the week's total votes. With the exception of Mitt Romney (who dropped to 0 percent), the order of the GOP primary candidates stayed the same in terms of ConservativeHQ.com subscriber preference. Second place was Herman Cain (24 percent; down 4 percent), followed by Newt Gingrich (17 percent; up 6 percent), Rick Perry (12 percent; up 5 percent), Michele Bachmann (7 percent; up 1 percent), Rick Santorum (2 percent; down 3 percent), Gary Johnson (1 percent; no change), and "Other" (1 percent). Jon Huntsman and Mitt Romney both received one vote each; however, this did not register a reportable percentage of the votes.
Changes from the last week are marked "green" for positive changes, and "red" for negative changes.
