Ditch Mitch

The Establishment Republicans will do anything to stay in power and have virtually no morality whatsoever when it comes to elections. They will do anything for a win, and many of them are quite clever, quite ruthless, and indeed, quite powerful.

But I say the bigger they are, the harder they fall. Go for the top dog, Mitch McConnell. Make an example of him. Take him down. This is the only language the Establishment Republicans understand. Boldly take on their strongest members, and see how little they can handle a real fight being taken to them.

As far as McConnell goes, there is a long list of vulnerabilities.

For one, he just utterly capitulated to Harry Reid and Barack Obama.

For two, Vice President Joe Biden is an active proponent of McConnell being re-elected. During the shutdown, Biden was noted during a meeting as telling Mitch he would get re-elected and that he hoped he would get re-elected. Biden even walked McConnell out of the meeting when it ended. That little scenario actually happened and should be used against McConnell to the fullest.

For three, the 'Kentucky kickback' McConnell received as reward for funding Obamacare. Probably the worst pork scandal since the bridge to nowhere.

For four, recent PPP polling had McConnell losing to Grimes in the general if the election were held today. I would love to see any and all polling on how Grimes does versus McConnell compared to how Grimes would do against a generic Tea Party candidate. If Grimes does better against McConnell than a generic Tea Party candidate, McConnell has to go all the more.

For five, Kentucky is Tea Party territory. It already has one Tea Party Senator... that makes it easier for there to be two. Kentucky is a Tea Party friendly state that is better off without any Establishment Republicans representing it in the Senate.

For six, McConnell swore he'd make Barack Obama a one term President. He accomplished no such thing. I dont think most people can even list anything McConnell ever did to actually try to beat Obama in 2012. Bottom line.. he claimed he'd succeed, he publicly failed, and should be shown the door for doing so. After all, that is the core of this battle between grassroots and establishment... who can really take it to the liberals, and who just rolls over to them.

Please, for the ake of the future of the Republican Party, ditch Mitch in 2014.

Is there a Tea Party battle map for states and districts?

It'd be nice to see which states and districts are Tea Party friendly and which are Establishment Republican territory.

Also, I believe Senator Chambliss has already said he will not seek re-election. Any of the other Senators listed not seeking re-election?
