How Do You Define “Security”?

Voting Booth
A few weeks ago we told you that top pollster Kellyanne Conway of the polling company conducted a very revealing survey that showed “security” as being one of the top issues in the 2014 midterm election.

The key point from the study that we want to remind you about today is this: No participants believe they or the country are safer today than a year ago.

Conway's research showed that Americans believe that "Peace Through Strength" is not merely an empty political slogan, but a national security strategy they believe in.

Frustratingly, many Republican candidates, who claim to be running as conservatives, are not campaigning on this issue.

Apparently convinced that a content-free campaign or prevent defense is the best strategy, even as the radical Muslim armies of the Islamic State roll across the Mideast, beheading and enslaving opponents as they go, terrorists are apprehended crossing our southern border and illegal immigrant-borne diseases have become a threat to American children and adults alike, Republicans have been all too often silent on the all-important issue of security.

Now is where you, and how YOU define national “security,” become vitally important to building the 2014 midterm election into the wave election it should be.

Please use the comment box below to tell us how you define “security.” There’s no “right answer” but a short comment or even a one line bullet point is best. We will publish the top submissions tomorrow under your CHQ handle unless you tell us differently. A fundamentalist conservative's view of security

As a fundamentalist conservative I define security as our national/federal government involving themselves in our lives and spending tax dollars on anything that is not allowed by and limited by our Constitution Article I, Section 8, Clauses 1-18.

Simply put, politicians at ALL levels of government, from school board member, mayor, city/town council, county supervisor, state and national House and Senate member to president traded their oath of office/affirmation along with our Constitution, especially the preamble and Article I, Section 8, Clause 1 BOTH requiring them to “provide for common defense of this nation. However, they have knowingly traded it away for Cultural Marxism i.e. political correctness and the fear of being labeled by one of their groups!

Our Founding fathers limited our national/federal government’s involvement into our lives and their spending of our tax dollars when they wrote, debated and signed our Constitution on September 17, 1787. Those founders that wanted to ensure stronger state’s rights passed the original Ten Amendments to our Bill of Rights on September 25, 1789 and they became ratified on December 15, 1791 which included Amendment X, States’ rights which stated “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”

Our politicians at all levels of government need to look at our real enemies that are destroying us and begin a discussion on how to wean themselves from the temptation to become involved or ignoring issues that they should become involved. For example, the United Nations (UN) is not our friend, they just use us for our money therefore, they want to suck us dry and reduce our influence worldwide so they can advance their one-world-order or one-world-government.
Our second enemy is the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) a 57 Muslim nation voting bloc in the UN that wheels enormous power that has a goal of forming a global caliphate, an Ummah ruled by Shariah/Islamic law. The only difference between them and ISIS/ISIL/Islamic State in how long it will take to reach a global Caliphate.

National Security

Protect US First!!

I define security as a government that strictly adheres to the Constitution of the United States of America and follows the requirements therein.

Borders and language if you don't have both you don't have a Country

Secure our borders.Profile Muslims already in the USA and their mosque's. Shut down visa's from any one coming from Middle East.
