Muslim Brotherhood Ally CAIR Attacks America’s Heartland

We’ve told you about the various American fronts and supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood, one of the main organizations behind the worldwide jihad against Western values now being waged by Muslims. And how these organizations are working to establish Muslim colonization zones where their Sharia-based laws trump American constitutional government.

Chief among these fronts is CAIR, the Council on American Islamic Relations.

CAIR has well documented* ties to the Muslim Brotherhood – a terrorist organization outlawed in Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates and dedicated to Islamic supremacism, terrorism as a means of achieving political objectives and spreading the misogynistic totalitarian ideology of Sharia Law.

According to documents seized by law enforcement and submitted as evidence in the largest terrorism finance trial in American history, the goal of the Muslim Brotherhood is to wage a “grand jihad in eliminating and destroying Western civilization from within and ‘sabotaging’ its miserable house…”

I leave it to others to definitively identify whether that “miserable house” should be interpreted as the United States of America, but the record is that throughout the Middle East the Muslim Brotherhood has repeatedly targeted Western-thinking groups, such as Middle Eastern Christians, and most especially Egyptian Copts, for attack.

So when CAIR objects to the showing of a movie on a college campus, Americans should understand that the objection is part of a well-planned campaign against the First Amendment, the examination of what Islam and Sharia really mean in the day-to-day lives of people living in Islamic majority countries and the free exchange of ideas regarding whether Islam and American constitutional government are compatible.

Thus it should not be surprising that one of the movies CAIR has objected to on a serial basis, and tried to get banned from campus is the “Honor Diaries,” a documentary featuring nine international women’s rights activists who are engaged in a dialogue about gender inequality.

When Oklahoma State University scheduled screenings of “Honor Diaries” and a talk by Raheel Raza, a Muslim Canadian journalist of Pakistani origin and one of the subjects of the film CAIR quickly sprang into action to try to get the film banned.*

Adam Soltani, executive director of CAIR-Oklahoma, wrote to several OSU officials asking that the showing be canceled.

In the letter he said the event will “work to distort attendees understanding of the Islamic faith.”

“Our organization is deeply concerned with this film based on the fact that the enormous importance of eradicating violence against women from all societies is undermined by the fact that the film is produced by two anti-Islam activists, Ayaan Hirsi Ali and Raphael Shore.

Soltani wrote that the producers of the film have a “track record of promoting anti-Muslim bigotry,” and are “hijacking a legitimate issue to push their hate-filled agenda.”

What Soltani conveniently left out is the fact that Ayaan Hirsi Ali was born and raised as a Somali Muslim,  is a former member of the Dutch Parliament, a campaigner against Muslim female genital mutilation, and a world-recognized author and speaker who left Islam and was consequently targeted for death for being an apostate or one who has left the Muslim faith.

Ayaan Hirsi Ali is also the author of Heretic: Why Islam Needs a Reformation Now.

In Heretic she writes Islam is not a religion of peace, but one that foments terrorism, breeds sectarian conflict and sanctions the repression of women and minorities. The book seeks to identify what must change in Islam to permit the separation of politics and religion and bring about a peaceful and tolerant faith – and how the West might hasten the process.

CAIR and the rest of the Muslim Brotherhood aligned groups in America want “Honor Diaries” banned and Ayaan Hirsi Ali dead because she is perhaps the world’s most effective advocate for explaining the political goals of Islam, as achieved through the imposition of Sharia, and its incompatibility with Western values and political traditions of free speech, freedom of thought and freedom of religion.

Fortunately, officials at Oklahoma State refused to bow to this assault on liberty under the Constitution, and the movie will be shown at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the OSU -Tulsa campus, and also at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday on the OSU - Stillwater campus.

This is a stark contrast to the craven collapse of University of Michigan administrators who cancelled a screening of “American Sniper” after complaints by the same kind of Muslim Brotherhood aligned organizations, leaving it to football coach Jim Harbaugh to shame them into reversing course when he tweeted out his love for Chris Kyle and his country, and announced that he planned to show the film to his players. He added that “if that offends anybody then so be it!”

These attacks on freedom of thought and expression are just a foretaste of what is coming if our government continues to allow millions of Muslims to enter the United States from hotspots of Muslim Brotherhood-aligned Islamism.

We urge you to contact your Representative and Senators (the Capitol Switchboard is 1-866-220-0044) to demand that America freeze immigration from Islamist terrorist hotspots until there is a security investigation and assimilation process in place that will guarantee we are not importing more jihadis and anti-constitutional Muslims into America.

*For more on the ties between the Muslim Brotherhood and Muslim organizations that explains how they ARE the Muslim Brotherhood of North America see the links below.  Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), North American Islamic Trust (NAIT) and Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) are all three unindicted co-conspirators in the Texas Holy Land Foundation trial.  They tried to get their names removed from the list that was made public--and 5th Circuit Court of appeals denied it.  The Court concluded that there was a preponderance of evidence showing that all three were intricately involved with Hamas, the Palestinian branch of the Muslim Brotherhood.
