5 Days to Save America: Will Your Representative and Senators Have Jim Bridenstine’s Integrity?

The establishment Republican “leaders” on Capitol Hill would like to have their constituents out in Real America believe that the battle to defeat President Obama’s radical plan to fundamentally change America is so complicated and fraught with difficulty that it can’t even be fought – let alone won – as long as Obama is in the White House.

Rep. Jim BridenstineConservatives understand that this is a complete lie and that what is required is not complicated legislative “strategy” or backroom gamesmanship and deal making, what is required is the integrity to keep your campaign promises and vote NO when it comes time to fund Obama’s destruction of this country.

When Rep. Jim Bridenstine (OK-1) introduced The GRACE Act, a bill to prohibit federal contracts with any entity that donates or matches employee donations to Planned Parenthood Federation of America he issued this statement:

“It is sad that both parties in Congress are complicit in continuing to fund Planned Parenthood through last minute, massive spending bills like CRs (continuing resolutions) or omnibus bills.  I have not and will not vote for any spending bill that sends one cent to Planned Parenthood.”

A lot has changed since Rep. Bridenstine made those remarks back in July, so CHQ reached out to see if perhaps the Congressman had changed his position – the answer was NO.

There are several reasons he won’t vote for a CR, but funding PP is certainly a big one we were told.

And there in a nutshell is how you defeat Obama’s agenda to destroy American exceptionalism – don’t vote for it.

But Republican “leaders” on Capitol Hill absolutely refuse to pursue that simple strategy.

Sometime between now and late Friday a Rule for a Continuing Resolution and the CR itself are going to be presented to Congress on a take-it –or-leave-it basis.

No amendments will be allowed, just a short time, maybe no more than a few hours will be given to review a bill hundreds, if not thousands of pages long.

This bill will fund everything Republicans campaigned against and that conservatives fear will tip America past the point of no return on importing Muslim terrorism (jihad), deficit spending, amnesty for illegal aliens, Obamacare bailouts and subsidies, continued social experimenting in the military, job-killing unscientific “climate change” regulations, closing Guantanamo and every other Obama initiative that conservatives oppose.

If you can name it, it will be funded by Republican leaders in this Continuing Resolution.

The first way to defeat the bill to fund Obama’s priorities would be to attack the rule for it in the House and the cloture vote in the Senate.

Establishment Republicans who are facing principled limited government constitutional conservative challengers in the 2016 congressional primary should be put on notice that grassroots voters understand the game they’ve been playing by voting FOR the Rule and then AGAINST the bill knowing it will pass with Democratic support.

They did this on the Mitch McConnell – Paul Ryan deal to give Obama a blank check on the debt ceiling, and they are preparing to do it again on the CR.

Establishment Republicans now facing serious primary challenges, such as incumbent establishment Martha Roby in Alabama-2, who is being challenged by Becky Gerritson, like incumbent Renee Ellmers in NC-2, who is being challenged by Frank Roche and Jim Duncan, and like incumbent Pete Sessions in TX-32, who is being challenged by Russell Ramsland are now trying desperately to run away from Obama’s agenda – but they own it because they’ve repeatedly voted to fund it.

Back home they are going to claim that it is all very complicated, that their opponents know nothing of congressional procedure and Capitol Hill protocol, but that is a lie. None of this is complicated, Roby,  Ellmers, Pete Sessions and others of their ilk simply lack the integrity to stand fast and fulfill their campaign promises in the face of pressure from the Washington Cartel.

Martha Roby, Renee Ellmers, Pete Sessions and other establishment Republicans gave Obama a blank check with their votes on the past three budget and spending bills – this week’s Continuing Resolution and the vote on the Rule to bring it to the Floor are their fourth and fifth fouls – they should be benched in the next Republican primary.
