FedUp PAC Poll: Conservatives Say “No” to Paul Ryan’s Puerto Rico Bailout

Conservatives oppose the Puerto Rico bailout bill that the House Republican leadership has been pushing, according to a poll by FedUp PAC.  A nearly unanimous 99% say that Puerto Rico should cut back on its generous welfare state spending rather than be bailed out by taxpayers or refuse to pay its debts.

The Puerto Rico bailout had been expected to pass the House last week but was delayed when conservatives Paul Ryan Puerto Ricoobjected that it would allow Puerto Rico to refuse to pay almost half of its debt.  Conservatives also oppose any taxpayer bailout, which Speaker Paul Ryan and the GOP leadership have mentioned as another possibility.

Congressional Democrats have been taking the opposite position, demanding that the bill be made even more favorable to Puerto Rico’s welfare state.  They may see this as setting a precedent for the bailout of fiscally-irresponsible states such as Illinois.

FedUp PAC is a grassroots organization that advocates that constitutional conservatives take over the GOP because Americans are fed up with the Republican establishment.  It is not affiliated with any candidate or committee.

Puerto Rico Bailout

By now there should be no doubt that when the republican establishment replaced john boehner with paul ryan the change was in name only. They were not listening then they are not listening now. The political establishment on both sides will say and do anything to keep their power, make promises they have no intention of doing or at least fighting for, spend money we don't have make no one accountable for their own decisions, put the business community before the American citizens.
*
It is obvious that American citizens on both sides of the political spectrum; are as the old movie quote stated, "I am mad as hell and I won't take it anymore".
*
I would predict that regardless of the outcome of this election in four years there will be a third party that the establishment in both parties cannot ignore or sweep under the rug.

Puerto Rico bailout.

When we take SS away from our seniors there I'd no way we should be bailing out anybody. We are bankrupt can t pay our own bills and we need to step back and say NO.
