The Boundless Depravity Of Democrats

Del. Kathy Tran
In their embrace of unrestricted abortion Democrats in Virginia and New York have entered a realm of depravity not seen since Adolf Hitler began a program of eugenics and euthanasia to “cleanse” German society of people the Nazi elite deemed undesirable.

In a morally corrupt speech the likes of which have seldom been uttered in an American legislature, Delegate Kathy Tran introduced and defended HB 2491, a bill to eliminate any restriction on the performance of an abortion up to the moment of birth.

In an exchange with Republican Delegate Todd Gilbert, Tran made clear that infanticide was the goal of her bill:

Del. Todd Gilbert (R): Where it’s obvious a woman is about to give birth...would that be a point at which she could still request an abortion?

Del. Kathy Tran (D): My bill would allow that, yes.

So, just to be clear, the bill would allow a doctor to perform an abortion when a woman is dilating, meaning she is about to give birth and the baby is unquestionably viable outside the womb.

Were Del. Tran the bill’s only defender, Democrats might escape the opprobrium Kathy Tran has brought upon their Party by claiming she is an extremist on the fringes of the Party, but Del. Tran’s quest to legalize infanticide is now apparently in the mainstream of Democrat Party politics as Virginia’s Democrat Governor, physician Ralph Northam, has risen to her defense.

In a radio appearance Wednesday morning, Northam created a firestorm when he said he supported born-alive abortions.

“If a mother is in labor, I can tell you exactly what would happen. The infant would be delivered. The infant would be kept comfortable. The infant would be resuscitated if that’s what the mother and the family desired, and then a discussion would ensue between the physicians and the mother,” Northam said in a WTOP interview.

Though other Democrats are standing by Tran, at least one Democrat is refusing to be associated with infanticide. Del. Dawn Adams, D-Richmond, said she “did not exercise due diligence” before co-sponsoring the abortion legislation with Tran.

“I made a mistake, and all I know to do is to admit it, tell the truth, and let the chips fall where they may,” said Adams, a first-term delegate who won a close upset victory in 2017 in her suburban district and could face a competitive re-election campaign this year according to reporting by Graham Moomaw of the Richmond Times-Dispatch.

In a letter to constituents, reported by Mr. Moomaw of the Richmond Times-Dispatch, Adams said the scenario Gilbert described would classify as a “partial birth infanticide” that would be illegal under state law.

“This remains a crime and would not be something any sane licensed physician would perform,” Adams said. “The code is very specific and clear about what this means and it is different from an abortion, even late term.”

The Democrat Party’s support for what Democrat Del. Dawn Adams correctly calls “partial birth infanticide” is part of a national trend where Democrats hold unchecked legislative authority.

On Jan. 22, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo signed the Reproductive Health Care Act (RHA) into law, which expands the circumstances under which a woman can legally obtain an abortion — including up until the moment of birth.

The Reproductive Health Act removed barriers for women seeking to get abortions in New York. But some Democrats wish it could have gone further and affirm a woman’s right to an abortion with no legal restrictions.

The new New York law already allows abortions to be performed by non-doctors up until the point of birth, and many Democrats see the bill as a step towards deregulating abortion entirely, making it like cosmetic surgery, a strictly elective procedure with no consideration of the unborn life that would be terminated.

For his part, Cuomo said it is all part of a push for "socially progressive" legislation in direct opposition of the Trump administration "that wants to roll back Roe v. Wade." He went further, saying not only would he like to put Roe v. Wade into law, but he'd "like to incorporate it into the constitution."

We agree with New York Archbishop Timothy Dolan that Cuomo's public celebration of the passage of his state's "partial birth infanticide" law was "ghoulish, grisly, and gruesome," but the Cardinal didn’t go nearly far enough in his condemnation of Cuomo and others who have made infanticide a central tenet of the Democratic Party’s platform.

New York may be gone, but the line against a rebirth of the moral corruption of eugenics and euthanasia can still be drawn in Virginia and other states where voters have not yet been deluded into granting unchecked legislative power to depraved individuals like Ralph Northam and Kathy Tran.

Delegate Tran’s official email is [email protected] and her office telephones are (804) 698-1042 and (703) 828-7173. We urge CHQ readers and friends to call Del. Tran to tell her you oppose HB 2491 and the depraved practice of “partial birth infanticide” and that you demand the bill be withdrawn.

Our country is going to pay a terrible price because the we are allowing innocent unborn babies to the slaughtered. We, the taxpayers, are also guilty because a portion of our tax dollars are being spent on the genocide of babies. Don't know when or exactly how but God Almighty will not allow these murders to continue indefinitely and when HE says "enough" all hell is going to break loose.
There are options to avoid becoming pregnant known as "the pill", the coil, tubal ligation and for men vasectomies plus the old fashioned way of abstinence. Currently abortion appears to be a form of birth control. Wonder why women are choosing abortion. Could it be because they are being paid for their unborn babies?

The Democrat Party has been sliding into the darkness for a long time but this latest bill offered up by Ms. Tran is unfathomable evil. And Northam apparently is fine with it! Absolute depravity on a scale unthinkable before. Where would it end? Will the Democrats eventually introduce legislation making it legal to kill one's child if the child is creating a problem of some kind? Seriously, where would it end? Abortion started out as only during the first trimester which I also think is murder. But the point is this: look where we are now. So where does this end?

Who votes for these people?! When the Democrats took God out of their party platform, it was clear that they had lost their way. And we see the impact of that lack of a moral compass in this most depraved legislation.

Infantacide is already legal

infanticide is already legal. It's called abortion. Why don't we just remove the situation from ever being requested. Just sterilize every liberal, democrat and progressive the very time we can prove they vote in support of the Democrat Communist Party of America. Planned Parenthood would oppose this because it would cut into the "baby parts" business.
