Bobby Jindal for President

Fox Undercard: Jindal Shines, No One Missed Graham Or Pataki

The Fox Business “undercard” showed once again the depth of the Republican bench this presidential cycle, but it was Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal's night as he cut to the heart of the conservative arguement against Big Government Republicanism and proved once again that the only thing holding him back has been the money and organization necessary to get that message out to the voters the networks have been polling to set the roster for the big stage.

CNBC Undercard Debate: Graham Zingers Versus Jindal Policy Substance

Each of the four undercard candidates is struggling to breakout of the lower tier and the cheapest and most obvious way to do that is to do what Carly Fiorina did to breakout – turn in a great debate performance. Two of the undercard candidates – Governor Bobby Jindal and Senator Lindsey Graham – turned in memorable performances, but of vastly different substance.

Our Take: Jindal Dominates The Undercard But No One Breaks Out

Here’s why we think no one on the undercard had a breakout night. All of the candidates on the stage talked like politicians and, except for Bobby Jindal’s quips and his focus on “saving the idea of America,” they were mostly focused on minutiae nobody cares about.

Jindal: Immigration without integration is invasion

Rebecca Kaplan, CBS News

Distancing himself once again from being seen as an Indian-American, Republican presidential aspirant Bobby Jindal has said immigration without adopting American values represents an "invasion". "We need to move away from hyphenated Americans. We're not African-Americans, Asian-Americans, Indian-Americans, rich or poor Americans. We're all Americans," the Louisiana Governor said.

How Do Fiorina And Jindal Break Into The Top Tier?

The so-called undercard revealed a deep pool of talent in the Republican field; that is a stark contrast to the narrow choices presented by the Democratic Party, where you can choose between the Third Term of Barack Obama or the first term of Karl Marx. Based on the substance of their answers during the first debate the question is not are Carly Fiorina and Bobby Jindal deserving of top-tier status, it is how can they overcome the arbitrary and capricious “credibility standards” the political establishment and media have begun to impose upon the Republican nominating process?

Thank You Bobby Jindal For Investigating Planned Parenthood's Human Organ Trafficking

Governor Bobby Jindal was right to launch an investigation – the substance of this video was on its face truly shocking in its depraved discussion of crushing human beings and harvesting their organs. The truth of the charges against Planned Parenthood should stand or fall on a measured and unbiased investigation into whether it profits from trafficking in human organs and Governor Bobby Jindal deserves the thanks of all right thinking people for his willingness to send Louisiana’s Department of Health and Hospitals to follow the facts wherever they lead.

Jindal: Sanders and Clinton Would Both Turn Us Into Greece

Gov. Bobby Jindal, Time

The way of Greece is where Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders will take us. It’s simple math: You can’t spend more than you take in. You can’t make it impossible for business to thrive and expect the economy to grow. No wonder the U.S. has had a disappointing about 2% “recovery” growth. That’s not an accident—it’s the result of failed policies.

Jindal to announce 2016 White House plans this month

Reuters

Republican Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal plans to make an announcement in New Orleans this month on whether to enter the 2016 race for the party's presidential nomination. Jindal said he would make his decision public on June 24 but gave no other details. Jindal would join nine Republicans who have formally launched bids as well as several others who are contemplating a run.

Jindal Rips Paul Over ISIS, Calls Him Unfit for WH

Andrew Desiderio, RCP

Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal says Rand Paul is unfit for the presidency after the Kentucky senator blamed Republican “hawks” for the existence and rise of the Islamic State. “ISIS exists and grew stronger because of the hawks in our party who gave arms indiscriminately [to Syrian rebels], and most of those arms were snatched up by ISIS,” the 2016 GOP presidential candidate said on “Morning Joe” Wednesday morning.

Jindal promises executive order on religious liberty

Justin Wm. Moyer, The Washington Post

On Tuesday, to the dismay of Gov. Bobby Jindal (R), Louisiana’s proposed Marriage and Conscience Act failed in the state’s house. But after the bill failed, Jindal stepped into the breach. “We are disappointed by the committee’s action to return the Louisiana Marriage and Conscience Act to the calendar,” Jindal said in a statement, as the Times-Picayune reported. “We will be issuing an Executive Order shortly that will … prevent the state from discriminating against persons or entities with deeply held religious beliefs that marriage is between one man and one woman.”
