Obama's 'Countering Violent Extremsim' programs collapse into absurdity

Just as the Obama's CVE programs are in complete meltdown, Republican leaders such as Rep. Mike McCaul, chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, and conservative organizations such as the Heritage Foundation are openly embracing Obama's CVE agenda -- and even calling for its expansion.

Obama and Rep. Mike McCaul Say You Could Be A “Violent Extremist”

Something is bizarrely wrong in our government as run by President Obama and House Homeland Security Committee Chairman GOP Rep. Mike McCaul. Returning American veterans, citizens who oppose abortion and voters who reject federal authority in favor of state or local authority can be named as terrorists, but the words Islamic, Islamist, Muslim, jihadi cannot be used in a program to “counter violent extremism.” We urge CHQ readers to call Mike McCaul, Speaker John Boehner, Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy and Republican Whip Steve Scalise and tell them you oppose H.R. 2899, McCaul’s bill to amend the Homeland Security Act of 2002 to authorize an Office for Countering Violent Extremism.
