Democrat Party

Joe Biden’s Bizarre Outburst Is Everything That Is Wrong With The Democrat Party

Kurt Schlichter, Townhall

We understand the rules that apply to us don’t apply to moronic mandarins like Gropey Joe or to their relatives like Hunter, the Snortunate Son. And that’s how the Democrat establishment wants it. Or, rather, that’s what it wants to return to. By rallying around the tattered banner of Joe Biden, Democrats forfeited the chance to offer the candidate of change. Rather, they seek to offer the candidate of change back, back to the ineptly managed national decline of the Obama years. If Joe Biden wins, he will not serve – he will be out in the Rose Garden frying bugs with a magnifying glass while a brainless trust of Obama retreads gets to work transforming all of America into Scat Francisco.

The Coming Implosion of the Democratic Party

Roger L. Simon, The Epoch Times

Democrats are an association for power. But now that association is split between the establishment and the socialists, roughly 60-40. This is untenable. All that holds them together is enmity for Trump. Without that they wouldn’t even be the semblance of a party anymore. Indeed, they’re probably not, even with the pervasive Trump hatred. If Biden were to stumble, Bernie would not easily move in to replace him. The establishment would block him immediately with a new candidate. Hillary? She’s been curiously silent of late. Why isn’t she joining the claque backing Biden? And what about Obama? Are they planning something? It doesn’t matter. The party has already effectively split in two.

Calls for unity cannot hide stark cultural differences inside Democratic Party

Byron York, Washington Examiner

Democrats are even divided about being divided. A recent Gallup poll asked the simple question, "Would you describe the Democratic Party today as united or divided?" Among Democrats, 51% said united, while 49% said divided. They split virtually down the middle. Everyone else sees Democrats as deeply divided. Sixty-seven percent of independents and 78% of Republicans described the Democratic Party that way. Each of the candidates, and especially Biden and Sanders, sells himself as the one who can "unite" the Democratic Party. But the fact is, there's a real possibility that no one can unite the party — and that includes their real opponent, Trump — as November approaches.

The Democratic Party: The Party of Toughs

R. Emmett Tyrrell, Jr., The American Spectator

There's a tendency among Democratic candidates to threaten violence while on the campaign trail. Joe Biden is obviously the most he-man practitioner of the art, but I followed young Beto O’Rourke and before he pulled out of the race he showed potential as a pugilist. And what about Kamala Harris and Kirsten Gillibrand? They showed their own dexterity with the F word. Had they not backed out prematurely they might be shouting back-alley language by now. The tougher gals might even be taking a swing at that 80-plus-year chap out in Iowa. I am still waiting for Hillary. She is even tougher than Joe and she has broken more furniture and lamps, to say nothing of her dirty mouth.

Conservatives Confront The Trump Era

The Philadelphia Society, one of the conservative movement’s premiere intellectual gatherings, was founded in 1964 to connect the dots between political philosophy and government policies.  That presents new challenges in the era of President Trump, who has catapulted the nation into a new political era.

The Co-Conspirators in the American Left's Takeover of the Democratic Party

Steve McCann, American Thinker

Not content to have been greatly responsible for the ascendancy of the American Left, Republican establishment politicians (such as Jeff Flake) and self-absorbed intellectuals (such as George Will) are now willing to cast their country into the permanent clutches of the Marxist Socialists because of a personal vendetta against Donald Trump and his supporters. For the love of God, they should please just go away… while the rest of us join Donald Trump in trying to do everything possible to repair the nearly irreparable damage that has been done to this nation as the result of 25 years of failed policies and obsequiousness to the American Left and the Democratic Party.

Cult Of Death Sweeps New England

We urge CHQ readers and friends to battle the growing state sanctioned cult of death that just swept through New England. In particular we urge you to stand against assisted suicide proposals like the one that just became law in Maine and radical “abortion to the moment of birth” proposals like the one that just became law in New Hampshire, as similar bills are now being brought before state legislatures across the country.

Rush Makes Half Of A Great Point

Rush made the point that, to many voters, government's ability to keep spending is like water in the faucet - it's assumed it will always be there. But the part he left out is that one of the main reasons that is so is because under Speakers Boehner and Ryan Republicans stopped talking about fiscal restraint and started spending like Democrats.

Saving The Earth At The Point Of A Bayonet

The only way the Green New Deal could be accomplished would be through the forced relocation of millions of workers and their families in a massive societal restructuring akin to the forced collectivization of Russian agriculture after the Soviet Revolution of 1917 or Chairman Mao’s Great Leap Forward economic restructuring of Communist China.

Kudos to Kanye West

Jeffrey Lord, The American Spectator

Kudos to Kanye West for showing up the game here. There in fact was choice involved in slavery — the choice of the slave masters to enforce it and the choice of the American Left and the Democratic Party to make a choice quite publicly to support the slave masters and the segregationists in return for serious political support in electing presidents, senators, congressmen, governors and who-knows how many thousands of state and local officials who supported the Left’s agenda of the moment. It was the most corrupt and openly racist bargain in American history, a horrendous deal-with-the-devil made by… choice.

Is Robert Mueller Destroying the Democratic Party?

Roger L. Simon, PJ Media

Mueller is the man of supposed great moral rectitude who promised to rid them of the obvious injustice of the last election.  Unfortunately, Mueller turned out to be an extreme moral narcissist who, consciously or not, led the Democratic Party down a primrose path of impeachment that could never happen and would inflate (slowly, but still...) Trump's poll numbers while assuring him a second term and giving plenty of cannon fodder to Republican congressional candidates once embarrassed by the president. Everything is ironic.

New Ear to the Ground Poll: Cultural Divide Deepens in First Year of Trump Presidency

We have an exclusive look at a new EarToTheGround.us poll conducted through the collaboration of ConservativeHQ.com and other individuals and organizations. The poll found Americans are deeply divided on the meaning of patriotism, the Constitution and how they viewed religion and prominent cultural brands and institutions.

A Clinton-Free Democratic Party

William McGurn, Wall Street Journal

The challenge for the Democratic Party is this: Mrs. Clinton lost an election in good part because she repudiated the compromises with Republicans that accounted for her husband’s greatest achievements as president—but she never would have been nominated if she hadn’t.

Democratic Platform Calls For Taxpayer-Funded Abortions

Peter Hasson, Daily Caller

Unlike any previous major party platform, the final draft of the 2016 Democratic platform explicitly calls for the repeal of the Hyde Amendment, which prohibits the use of federal funds for abortion except in cases of rape, incest and the life of the mother.

Warren Buffett: Obama’s Favorite Crony Capitalist

The “Oracle of Omaha” has made many shrewd investments over the years, and one of the best was in the policies of Barack Obama and the Democratic Party.

How Illegal Immigrant Juveniles Will Serve the Democrats

Michael Bargo Jr., American Thinker

The real story is that Obama cares not for the welfare of Hispanic juveniles. His only concern is to keep the Democratic National Machine in power. He himself was placed in the White House to rewrite Immigration Law.

The Lois Lerner IRS Targeting & Cover Up: All In The Nature Of Big Government

Once government reaches a certain size its prime directive ceases to be to serve the people who created it to become preserving itself and expanding its power. Obama, the Democratic Party and unionized government employees all have the same goal.

Surprise for Obama's N. American Agenda

Jerome R. Corsi, WND

Now even the Democrats question what President Obama seeks.

McAuliffe Campaign Promise Sparks Int'l Dispute

Tess VandenDolder, In The Capital

One of the first issues to arise with newly elected Gov. Terry McAuliffe actually has nothing to do with Virginia's domestic policies. Instead, the Dem. has become embroiled in an int'l dispute with Japan that could spell big trouble.

Exec. Tyranny: The Problem's Bigger Than Obama

Bruce Thornton, Front Page Magazine

Obama is just the extreme version of a widespread belief among many in both parties that an enormous, intrusive federal regulatory and redistributionist regime is necessary for “solving problems” that in fact are best left to individuals and state and local government.
