Assault on America, Day 274: Dem presidential wannabes jump on impeachment bandwagon

There’s little doubt Nancy Pelosi’s decision to move forward with impeachment will impact the 2020 Democrat presidential race, but we’re not sure how -- or to what extent. From the outset it seemed clear that Democrats didn’t care much about anything other than Trump. Now’s their chance to prove otherwise.

Trump's Conservative Policies Launch Boom For Middle America

Stephen Moore’s recent Wall Street Journal column clearly refutes the charge by Democrats that only millionaires and billionaires have benefited from President Trump’s economic policies. But it is also a devastating indictment of the Bush and Obama policies which resulted in nearly two decades of lost economic progress for Middle America.

Assault on America, Day 273: Impeachment? Dems want to shut the government down too!

As long as Trump’s in the White House with presidential veto authority Democrats know they’ll never realize their dreams of universal government healthcare, amnesty for every illegal alien and a disarmed domestic citizenry. Stalled appropriations bills are their present and future if Trump is reelected.

Assault on America, Day 272: Dem impeachment actions equal complete and opposite reactions

Every time Democrats do something over-the-top -- like declare they’re planning to impeach President Trump -- we can expect conservatives and Republicans to fight back fiercely. For every action there’s an equal and opposite reaction; remember this whenever Nancy Pelosi opens her mouth.

The Smoke Signals Say It’ll Be Trump Vs. Warren

Kurt Schlichter, Townhall

Where Kirstin Gillibrand came across as America’s First Wife, Warren comes across as that irritating middle school librarian who is constantly demanding that we all use our inside voices and who puts up posters that say “Reading Is Cool!” with a picture of the Fonz. Functionaries like that are just fine for keeping seventh graders from burning down the school and for passing out tomes so the kids can learn them their cypherin’, but grown men and women neither need nor want some National Nag pestering them to be better people. For one thing, we’re already manifestly better than the cast of weirdos, losers and pinko mutations that make up Warren’s motley base.

Assault on America, Day 271: 2 weeks from now no one talks about Ukraine. But impeachment?

Democrats and #NeverTrumpers were searching for the right opening to get at Trump and they thought they’d found it with the Ukraine non-controversy. The actual words that were spoken don’t help their cause, no matter how much they insist it does. Let the chips fall where they may -- Democrats will lose in the end.

Assault on America, Day 268: 'Pocahontas' Liz must come clean on her all-inclusive tax scheme

Time will tell whether Elizabeth “Pocahontas” Warren has the political skills and practical wherewithal to explain her proposals in a manner that voters identify with, and whether she’ll overcome Joe Biden’s electability argument. Democrat primary participants will decide. Do they know best?

Is Biden The Real Target Of The Ukraine Scandal?

In interviews The Daily Beast conducted with multiple progressive Democrats and Warren supporters, their chief advice to Warren was don’t rush to Biden’s defense against Trump. In other words, they’re hoping Trump and the Ukraine scandal take out Biden, but they don't want to get caught cheering Sleepy Joe's demise.

Assault on America, Day 267: Greta Thunberg is a Hogg-clone for opportunistic greenie wackos

Greta Thunberg is well-known because somebody, somewhere decided to make hers the face of the leftist globalist climate change agenda. Politicians like Bernie Sanders are using the teen to further their own missions as well, proving there isn’t much shame to go ‘round in the Democrat party today.

Assault on America, Day 266: Three (or more) reasons why Kamala Harris won’t be president

With a little over four months to go until Democrats caucus in Iowa, much could potentially change in the intervening time. One thing that’s unlikely to improve for Kamala Harris, however, is her ability to fit in with a large enough segment of voters to make a difference when the race tightens.

Establishment Political News Influence Nosediving

The establishment media's efforts to destroy Trump are having the opposite effect – the media’s credibility is being destroyed, Sleepy Joe Biden is falling fast to Elizabeth Warren and, according to Rasmussen’s daily tracking poll 52 percent of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance.

Assault on America, Day 265: If the Founding Fathers didn’t always agree, why should we?

Both liberal Democrats and conservative Republicans suffer from the same type of political malady -- the lack of a party grassroots that agrees on everything. The American system isn’t built to satisfy everyone. The best anyone can do is rely on principle and hope the rest falls in line naturally.

Assault on America, Day 264: Democrats have more to worry about than Joe Biden’s flubs

Americans aren’t fooled by Democrats and their lack of substance. Speculation over Joe Biden’s mental state will last as long as he continues to stumble every other sentence, but in the end it doesn’t matter. If he and his fellow Democrats won’t talk about jobs and the economy, they might as well all be demented.

Assault on America, Day 261: Trump knows what he’s doing on Iran. Let’s all be thankful

The president knows history and he’s seen what happens to American leaders who insist on assuming the role of the world’s policeman and food distributor. Sometimes it’s best just to stay out. Thank God Trump appears to have learned this lesson -- and he’ll hold firm against the rest.

Assault on America, Day 260: Authenticity in short supply for Democrat presidential wannabes

Close observation reveals the Democrat presidential candidates are all about the same, which is the reason why they’re having a hard time cutting into Joe Biden’s polling lead. Collectively they’re so far outside the mainstream it’s hard to relate to any of them. Authenticity is in short supply in Democrat-land these days.

The Squad Aims To Make Pro-Life Democrats Extinct In 2020

In today’s “woke” Democratic Party non-conformity is not tolerated, especially on abortion, so any pro-life Democrat is bound to draw an opponent. Such is the case with pro-life Democrat Rep. Dan Lipinski of Illinois, whose Far-Left challenger has just been endorsed by Democratic Socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Far-Left Senator Elizabeth Warren.

Assault on America, Day 259: Donald Trump, judges, and the consequences of electing liberals

Barack Obama famously said “elections have consequences,” and for once, he was right. America and the world would be very different today if Hillary Clinton had beaten Donald Trump in 2016. #NeverTrumpers only seem to care about tone -- do they think a sweet-talking Democrat would solve things?

Elizabeth Warren's Social Security scam

Stephen Moore, Washington Times

Warren's plan turns Social Security into what is was never intended to be: an income redistribution welfare program. Even a New Dealer like FDR never meant it to be an explicit welfare program with the rich paying largely the freight for the costs of everyone else. Ms. Warren wants to even provide benefits to people who rarely if ever paid into the system at all. There is a much better way to increase the Social Security benefits for young workers without raising taxes on anyone. That is to let all workers take 10 percent of their paychecks and invest those dollars into a personally owned index fund of stocks.

Assault on America, Day 258: For Trump and the GOP in 2020, it’s School Choice, stupid!

Some political issues are such obvious winners they should be in the forefront of every conservative’s campaign pitch. School choice and responsible stewardship of the environment are two subjects the GOP could use to turn heads instead of permitting the left to control the narrative. Are Republicans paying attention?

Assault on America, Day 257: Mark Sanford run the epitome of a #NeverTrump fool’s errand

One can’t necessarily blame Mark Sanford for challenging Trump in the 2020 GOP primaries, but it’s open to debate whether it’s a net positive or just a fool’s errand. The “conversation” regarding debt and spending needs to take place either way -- and who’s to say Sanford should lead it?
