M. Stanton Evans

Book Review: Skirmishes by Neal B. Freeman

By Richard A. Viguerie, CHQ Chairman
Skirmishes is a must read for those who want to understand the many debates and intellectual battles – great and small – that helped define today’s conservatism. And who better to write about them than Neal B. Freeman who was – and remains – at the heart of many of those battles.

Have A Phil Crane Christmas

By Richard A. Viguerie, CHQ Chairman
During Rep. Phil Crane’s post-Army career in advertising, where he learned and honed the skills that would help him sell conservatism as a Member of Congress and chairman of the American Conservative Union, Phil Crane wrote a then-popular Christmas song, “Little Sandy Sleighfoot.”

Stan Evans and Sen. McCarthy Were Right: The US Government Was Infiltrated By Communists

Writing at Breitbart in January 2014, M. Stanton Evans elaborated on, and, more relevant, quantified McCarthy's efforts to identify Communists inside the federal government. His piece was partly inspired by seemingly endless ad hominem attacks on me as "McCarthy's Heiress" for having written American Betrayal. What Evans said was, looking at this mass of materials and matching them up with Senator McCarthy’s cases, the main thing to be noted is a recurring pattern of verification. Time and again, we see the suspects named by McCarthy and/or his committee–treated at the time as hapless victims–revealed in official records as what McCarthy and company said they were–except, in the typical instance, a good deal more so.

Viguerie’s Vigorous Conservative Opus

Jennifer Harper, Washington Times

Richard Viguerie's new book TAKEOVER covers Barry Goldwater, Richard Nixon, William F. Buckley, M. Stanton Evans and Ronald Reagan. He blasts the GOP Estab., The Bushes and consultants, just to name a few. The author is ready to rumble as “civil war” and division rattle the GOP.

M. Stanton Evans' critique of the Gang of Eight immigration bill, and exposure of the liberal interest groups behind Senator Marco Rubio’s attempt to scam conservatives into supporting it, should carry special weight with movement conservatives.
