Roger Stone
Double Standards on View in Outrage at Stone Commutation
The anti-Trump fraternity claims to be shocked, shocked that Trump commuted Roger Stone’s prison sentence. Look, Roger Stone is an extravagant, pro-Trump political activist. He is an odd and excitable chap. The question is, are those attributes sufficient to earn you a prison sentence? He was convicted of lying to investigators. That was his chief tort. But at the end of the day, I think that Andrew Klavan got it exactly right. “So Roger Stone won’t go to prison for covering up a crime that never happened,” Klavan tweeted, “during an investigation that never should have begun. My outrage knows no bounds.”

By Richard A Viguerie, CHQ Chairman
Former Congressman Steve Stockman and Trump advisor Roger Stone, two people known to many conservatives, who fit the age and health conditions of who should be given home release from prison during the coronavirus pandemic, face death sentences because they are still in, or going into, prison.
After Tainted Prosecution And Trial Roger Stone Gets 40 Months
Serious and credible questions about the government’s motives and conduct of the investigation and prosecution of Roger Stone, including seating a tainted jury, have been raised. We believe a sentence of 40 months in prison is manifstly unfair and urge President Trump to step in and immediately exercise his pardon power to right the wrongs perpetrated against Roger Stone.
Trump Charges the Liberal Hacks’ Latest Ambush
There was a lot of talk about how “troubling” and even “frightening” it was that Donald Trump “interfered” with the “prosecutorial discretion” of these first-line functionaries. There was little talk of how obviously it was a set-up designed to try to trick Trump into violating some newly created norm – that new norm being that a president must leave unaddressed manifest injustices (Roger Stone's sentence) inflicted upon his supporters. Except Trump does not play that loser’s game. They still think that Trump can somehow be shamed into obedience to the elite by castigating him for violating its arbitrary and unequally enforced unwritten rules. He can’t.
President Trump: End The Persecution Of Roger Stone With An Immediate Pardon
Serious and credible questions, including the seating of a tainted jury, have been raised about the government’s motives and conduct of the investigation and prosecution of Roger Stone. The vehemence by which the Mueller prosecutors continue to pursue Stone belies any claims of fairness and due process. President Trump should step in and exercise his pardon power to right the wrongs perpetrated against Roger Stone.
The Myth of Inspector General Reports
The DOJ's investigating itself is unprecedented in law enforcement. Have you ever heard of people committing a crime investigating themselves. That is, in fact, the point. We have been flooded with many IG reports, and yet none of the time and money wasted on these friendly lengthy investigations has produced a single indictment, and why is anybody surprised?

Yesterday’s House hearings featuring testimony by former Special Counsel Robert Mueller offered nothing of substance regarding the charges fabricated to impede Donald Trump’s presidency. However, they did provide beyond a shadow of a doubt proof of the complete corruption and utter cynicism of the Democrats and their allies in the establishment media.
Mitt Romney Is A Virtue Signaling Twit
President Trump’s economic policies are working too well for Romney to credibly criticize them and his border policy is too popular with the Republican Party’s base to risk criticizing. So, all Romney has left is to make Trump himself the object of his disapproval and so keep the Republican establishment’s anti-Trump resistance alive.
Judge Should Dismiss All Charges Against Roger Stone Now
Mr. Stone’s lawyers are calling on the federal judge to dismiss all charges against him stemming from special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia probe. Mr. Stone’s alleged “crimes” were all process crimes that arose out of the illict Mueller investigation. He has never been charged with participating in any crime the Special Counsel was investigating.

Unlike Democrat and Far Left figures, such as Christine Blasey Ford, there is no million-dollar GoFundMe pot of gold at the end of the ordeal for Caputo, Corsi, Papadopoulos, Stone and the rest of those caught up in the hoax that became the Mueller investigation.
On closer examination, Roger Stone indictment is less than it seems
Stone's defense of himself in the "time in the barrel" matter, in his contacts with Guccifer 2.0, and in his lack of direct contacts with WikiLeaks all resulted in no accusations from Mueller. And, of course, the indictment did not charge that Stone knew about the WikiLeaks disclosures beforehand, or that he was involved in any conspiracy between the Trump campaign and Russia to influence the 2016 election, or that such a conspiracy even existed. Put it all together, and the Stone indictment adds up to less than it at first seems.
We Could All Be Roger Stone
The way we see it, Roger Stone’s only crimes are being friends with Donald Trump and using his considerable skills at manipulating the media to keep the story of Hillary Clinton’s many real crimes alive – and pissing-off Robert Mueller and his band of Democrat witch hunters in the process. We have contributed to the Roger Stone Legal Defense Fund and we hope you and other CHQ readers and friends will do likewise.

The prosecutorial harassment of Donald Trump, those related to Donald Trump or in Donald Trump’s “circle” is an outrageous perversion of justice. What's more, the opprobrium heaped on the Trump family by the establishment media and popular culture has also claimed entirely innocent victims, such as Josh Trump of Delaware.
Viguerie Receives AAPC Hall of Fame Award
CHQ Chairman Richard A. Viguerie last week received the American Association of Political Consultants Lifetime Achievement Award at the Association’s annual Hall of Fame ceremony and luncheon. In accepting the award Mr. Viguerie remarked humorously that he has raised millions of dollars campaigning against many of the individuals in the room.
Trump Stole a Page From "Give 'Em Hell" Harry
His crowds were massive. In underestimating the importance of Trump’s drawing ability at rallies, the Democrats made a classic blunder. Very few experts caught the coming Trump tidal wave — or that Trump was copying the playbook of peppery and determined Harry Truman in a super-human sprint across the country. It could be the greatest close in U.S. history.

Roger Stone: You Bet Elections Can Be “Rigged”
That the entire political system is rigged to favor Clinton is self-evident, but now Trump confidant Roger Stone has published a column in DC’s political journal The Hill documenting how elections can be rigged and the evidence that some actually have been rigged.
Roger Stone: 'Cracks in Trump Campaign Begin to Show'
Ted Cruz won Wisconsin Tuesday because "the cracks in the Trump campaign are beginning to show," political consultant and Trump ally Roger Stone told Newsmax TV.
Is Trump About To Be Co-opted By The DC Political Class?
Speculation is rampant that Paul Manafort, "the quintessential embodiment of the Beltway Consultant Class, about whom Mr. Trump despairs, and that which he supposedly would overthrow” is about to takeover the Trump campaign and replace Trump's controversial campaign manager Corey Lewandowski.
