In the coming weeks Congress will take up tax reform and a number of important items on the Make America Great Again agenda. General John Kelly and the West Wing Democrats may try to “moderate” the administration, but Donald Trump is the one who’s really in charge.

Perhaps Republicans should just barricade themselves in a big room until they work out their differences. Many a struggling team has locked the media out in order to have a “players only” meeting. If the GOP “players” don’t get together soon, the whole season could be lost.

People run for Congress with the intention of representing their constituents to the best of their ability. It certainly involves making difficult choices at times. But if the serious issues are ever going to be resolved we need politicians with steel spines, not wimps who shrink from a fight.

The only reason Colin Kaepernick continues to be discussed in today’s media is because he’s been so widely successful in ripping open gaping wounds in American traditions and culture. If he never works another day on a football field in his life we should feel vindication, not remorse.

Today’s problems could be alleviated by Republicans doing what they said they would do during the campaign. Ending the filibuster would go a long way towards accomplishing this end, but it’s just a start. In this sense history repeating itself would be a very positive thing, indeed.

Politics is a dirty game and there are nearly 20 trillion clues to prove the system isn’t working. With Trump highlighting the debt issue in public the establishment is clearly frustrated it can no longer hide from it. Congressional Republicans will be back at it soon – and they’d better get something done.
Outsiders vs. Insiders: Is there anyone left in the White House to Make America Great Again?

Trump gains nothing by moving away from the promises he made during last year’s campaign. The purge of people like Gorka and Bannon in his administration isn’t helping him win over critics and is only leading to disastrous policy switches that could damage him further.
The FBI Must Investigate The Sophisticated Intelligence Operation To Destroy President Trump
When one begins to analyze how these stories begin and propagate it is clear that, as The Washington Post put it, “current and former U.S. officials” in the intelligence agencies are engaged in what amounts to a seditious conspiracy to cripple and eventually bring down President Trump.
Obama Advisor: The Muslim “Caliphate” is Inevitable
If the Islamist global Caliphate is “inevitable” it is only because the Obama administration has, through naïve and foolish political correctness, adherence to a dangerously cynical political agenda – or the penetration of Islamist agents of influence – allowed the Muslim Brotherhood and ISIS to reach critical mass and make it so.
