Cruz's New Book: Rove Thought George H.W. Bush 'Too Old To Have Good Judgment'

Matthew Boyle, Breitbart
Cruz’s new book, A Time For Truth: Reigniting the Promise of America, goes on sale this coming Tuesday, June 30. In it, according to a summary document also obtained by Breitbart News, Cruz doesn’t disappoint—breaking tons of news and walking through his backstory and how he got to where he is. He focuses on what he thinks needs to happen to reinvigorate the United States, end back room deals in Congress, and get the U.S. government back to what it’s supposed to be doing: Representing Americans nationwide.
That’s why Cruz exposing Rove so harshly is significant.

Ted Cruz just upped the populist ante for 2016 Republicans

Cruz: It’s Time to Break Washington's Crony Cartel

Senator Ted Cruz has weighed in on Washington cronyism with a powerful speech at the Heritage Foundation that we think every American should see. “Washington has done a great job of one thing – picking winners and losers,” said Senator Ted Cruz, “except it’s clear each time who the losers are: it’s American families... What’s happening in Washington is no accident... It is a concerted effort by corporate lobbyists and establishment politicians. Lobbyists and career politicians make up the Washington Cartel."

In an exclusive column on Breitbart, Senator Ted Cruz outlined the sleazy backroom deals, cronyism, corporate welfare and lies that have turned the current trade package into an attack on American workers and sovereignty, and away from the "free trade" traditionally favored by conservatives. Cruz says as things stand now he will have no choice but to vote "NO" on a bill that is of the lobbyist, by the lobbyist, and for the lobbyist – and at the expense of the taxpayers.

Cruz Introduces the Immigration Slush Fund Elimination Act

The Obama Administration has admitted it uses so-called offsetting accounts (which function like agency checking accounts) to take the fees it charges legal immigrants and use them to fund amnesty and other activities that Congress has not authorized. Eliminating Obama's ability to use the money it collects in fees to support amnesty and other unauthorized activities is a first step toward reining in the executive branch’s lawless approach to immigration.
