Ted Cruz faces tough Obamacare questions at otherwise friendly town hall

David M. Drucker, Washington Examiner

Near the tail end of a forum with Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, that was sponsored and run by Concerned Veterans for America, a conservative group, an argument broke out over the merits of repealing the Affordable Care Act. Cruz said he is pleased with the progress of negotiations to repeal the law in the Senate, although he conceded during the forum: "It's been bumpy. I am not certain we'll get it done. I hope we will. I believe we will."

One Thing You Can Do This Week To Change Washington

One thing you can do this week to change Washington is to go to your Representative’s town hall meeting if he or she is having one, and ask where your Representative stands on the Meadows motion to vacate the Chair and oust Speaker Boehner. If your Representative isn’t having a town hall we have made it simple to let your Representative know that you want John Boehner removed as Speaker of the House, just sign our petition to second Rep. Meadows’ motion to vacate the Chair. We will forward it to your Representative on your behalf.
