Brave Celebrities Fearlessly Stand Up Against Racism

Kurt Schlichter, Townhall

Yes, it’s truly heartwarming to see all these people and organizations finally finding the courage to be against racism. But now it’s your turn – really, your duty – to make sure that everyone knows that you are against racism too. Frankly, if you are not constantly publicly announcing that you are against racism, the only logical and fair thing to conclude is that you are actively for racism. At least, that seems to be how this all works now. So, in your individual life, make sure that upon interacting with someone you clarify your position by stating, “I really hate racism and I am against it.”

Woke stupidity is spreading as fast as the coronavirus pandemic

Kyle Smith, New York Post

The woke virus is spreading faster than ever. Woke idiocy has attended every step of the coronavirus outbreak. On Jan. 30, just as it was starting to emerge as a serious worldwide issue, CNN published a huffy piece on Trump’s health-crisis managers that began, “It’s a statement that’s as predictable as it is infuriating: President Donald Trump’s administration lacks diversity.” Oh no, a lot of epidemiologists are white guys. Cancel them. Last week CNN invited notorious Hugo Chavez fanboy Sean Penn in as an expert on crisis management. Next year there will probably be a vaccine for coronavirus. But there will never be an inoculation for woke stupidity.

Why Celebrity Politics Matters

Ben Shapiro, CNS News

Our cultural arbiters have reacted to the political victory of their opposition with renewed attempts to merge culture and politics — they've gotten more extreme, louder, more pronounced in their determination to shift the culture to their point of view. Which will, of course, drive more political divisions. A pluralistic democracy requires three factors to function: a shared cultural space; a shared belief in key ideas, largely embedded in the Constitution; and a shared willingness to leave one another alone. As each component erodes, so, too, does the possibility of a united country.

Harrison Ford's Climate Horror Story

L. Brent Bozell III and Tim Graham, CNS News

Liberals have a right to lecture us on some things, but scaremongering ain't one of them. These are the same people who relentlessly scaremonger the American people about "climate change." "We are the only member of the animal kingdom whose behavior, whose hubris can destroy the planet," Ford lectured. "Around the world, elements of leadership — including in my own country — to preserve their stake in the status quo, deny or denigrate science. They are on the wrong side of history." The hubris of the left is overwhelming, and it is shameless.

The Fourth of July in Postmodern America

Gilbert T. Sewall, The American Spectator

There’s room for many types and styles, of course, old and new, high-minded and vernacular, even Republican and Democrat. But it is essential to draw a bright line between entertainment and political capacity. The rise of celebrity tribunes building their brand, able and eager to move millions, is daily disquieting. But on no day more than Independence Day.

The Latest Celeb Political Rant Demands Liberalism From Congress

PJ Media Staff

Hollywood celebrities have been taking to YouTube this whole election cycle to express their dismay over Donald Trump. And, even after Trump's election, these coastal elitists are still at it. They think, as our public deciders, that they can claim the "majority" moniker and "demand" Congress to uphold their liberal ideals. And it's all paid for by MoveOn.Org...
